Sunday Scripture 4 27 2025

Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is not hidden with Christ in God.

Colossians 3:1-3

Therefore, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spiurit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful humanity to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in human flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.

Romans 8:1-4

And being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father which saith he ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days since. And when he had spoken these things while they beheld, he was taken up: and a cloud received him out of their sight.

The Acts 1:4-5

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant. Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight through Jesus Christ: to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen

You know Spring must be near

when you see an abundance of Golden Daffodils

and Tulips everywhere.

Just some fun recent flower purchases. Sometimes the grocery has flowers that are reduced because they're not daily fresh. However, I have found that they thrived pretty much as well as the fresh cut ones.

Since I've moved, and no longer have a flower garden, love taking flowers home when I grocery or otherwise shop. I do still plant some in a couple planters when the weather gets nice enough.

I'm taking a break from Peabea Scribbles photography link up for a bit.

I no longer get out with my camera, and photography was the focus when I began this link up. Thank you to all who have stopped by and shared their love of photography over the years. I appreciate the many that I feel I know as friends who I've learned so many new things from with your sharings. Many talents for photography, many talents for crafts, and just life in general. I will miss all who have visited. I will be back, but with another avenue for sharing. Not sure yet what that will be, but for now just taking a break from my blogging link up.

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 4 9 2024

Flowers sprouting on Razzy and my walk. If any know what these are called, let me know. I'm clueless, but love their pretty color and shape.

CRAFTING:

Progress on my sock so far. Believe me, I'm thrilled to be this far along. I've been trying for months to cast these on. I crochet, I knit so not sure what my problem is with trying these. Maybe because has been long while since I've crocheted or knitted with this small of yarn. I got some new yarn to cast on to do a pair with double pointed needles. I am determined. lol

Some wash cloths done for my shop. More to make. They're my favorite to use.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Another week of tornadoes that we were in the path of again. This time, I went up to my sister's who has a basement. Luckily, it never materialized so I count myself fortunate and grateful.

This week is the total eclipse that we are in the path of for a total. I have the glasses, but not sure I'm going to go see. The town is excited since we're in the path and has expected lots of visitors and the fairgrounds had a mini fair starting over the weekend.
