Sunday Scripture 3 22 2026

The Parables of the Mustard Seed and the Yeast
Then Jesus asked: Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden, and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.

Again He asked: Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
Luke 13:18-21

Sunday Scripture 3 15 2026

This was the real light, the light that comes into the world and shines on all mankind. The word was in the world and through God made the world through him, yet the world did not recognize him. He came to his own country, but his own people did not receive him. Some however did receive him and believed in him so he gave them the right to become God's children.

 Correlation with the Passover:

Jesus came as the blood for us the same as the Israelites who were told to spread blood on the doorposts in order to be saved.

Happy Sunday,

Sunday Scripture 3 1 2026

A friend is one who joyfully sings with you when you are on the mountain top and silently walks beside you through the valley. by William A. Word

 I am as one mocked of his neighbor,
who calleth upon God, and he answereth
him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.
Job 12:4 KJV

Job stands up for himself. Explains his goodness, his steadfast fear of God and doesn't blame. His persecution is not from doing evil. Job continues to explain what he's about and who he is to his friends who have apparently forgotten. He has not had a lustful eye nor committed adultery, has not been vain nor deceitful, has not rejoiced at other's misfortunes nor wished bad on anyone; has helped the poor; has kept God in his heart because he feared the loss of God. Has considered his fellow man as a brother as they both came from the same place...the womb of their mother so one is no better than the other. Circumstances would only be the differentiating of their lives. He freely gave of what he had been given. Again, he explains that his persecution is not from doing evil.

In the beginning of the book of Job, it is explained that God believes in his servant Job and allows the Devil to tempt him and coerce him from his righteousness, but he is not allowed to kill or harm Job.

The Spirit of God hath made me,
and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
Job 33:4 KJV

Sunday Scripture Blessing 2 15 2026

Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me, for in you I take refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed. I cry out to God Most High, to God, who vindicates me. He sends from heaven and saves me, rebuking those who hotly pursue me--God sends forth his love and his faithfulness. I am in the midst of lions; I am forced to dwell among ravenous beasts--men whose teeth are spears and arrows, whose tongues are sharp swords. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, let your glory be over all the earth. They spread a net for my feet--I was bowed down in distress. They dug a pit in my path--but they have fallen into it themselves. My heart, O God, is steadfast, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music. Awake, my soul! Awake, harp and lyre! I will praise you, Lord, among the nations, I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, reaching to the heavens, your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, let your glory be over all the earth.

Psalm 57:1-11 When David had fled from Saul into the cave.

Sunday Scripture 9 7 2025

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints, and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
Hebrews 4:12-13

  • God knows all and he knows us.
  • Live life as though a thoughtful parent who loves you as Jesus does is right there beside you in all you do. God's word is sharp as a teaching parent and when needed it is a reminder of how our actions should be same as a loving parent
Happy Sunday, and have a Great Week

The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.”

Eze 11:19  And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh;

Eze 11:20  that they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

Sunday Scripture ~ 8 10 2025

Proverbs 1:7

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools dispise wisdom and instruction.

1:33

But who so hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Where I've been. After a heart attack and three hospital stays, I just wasn't up to much. But am doing better and feel like I need to get back to Bible journaling. I do miss those who always stopped by when I was sharing the Sunday Scripture Blessings link up so hope all who use to stop by, and ones that are now visiting are doing great and enjoying their Summer or whatever season wherever you are.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We have been having a really hot Summer, but I'm blessed to be enjoying it. I turned 79 this year so you never know what lies ahead, but trusting in God for whatever that may be. I've been enjoying the flowers that I planted in pots this year. I did some seeds, but they aren't doing the best. I did see a new bloom this week. According to Google search, this is called Blanket Flower, also known as Gailardia. Says it is native to dry areas and known for their vibrant red and yellow blooms.
Picture Below:
The flower at the top is an Aftrican violet. It was doing terrible, and I read that if the leaves aren't growing or the blooms, it may be because it is in too large of a container. Mine was because I had transplanted it to a larger one. I put it back into a smaller one, and eventually, more leaves grew and then it bloomed. I was so excited the morning I walked into my craft room and saw the blooms. I think I actually squealed. lol
God's earth and all it's nature as well as my Violet and Summer flowers are pleasing to the eye. He gives us amazing things to make us smile.
Thanks for visiting, and have a great Sunday and week ahead.
Make you Perfect in every good work to do his will working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight through Jesus Christ: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen
Hebrews 13:20-21
And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen
Sunday Scripture 4 27 2025
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is not hidden with Christ in God.
Colossians 3:1-3
Therefore, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spiurit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful humanity to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in human flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.
Romans 8:1-4
As we head into the last week of April, I hope everyone has a good week.
Happy Sunday
John 15 15 16
20160224_210226
Ye have not Chosen me, but I have Chosen you.
I Am Chosen
I Am Forgiven
I Am Created in God’s Image ~
to me that statement means not physical attributes, but created in his Image.
And the Image that I perceive of God is not nationality, or whether he has long hair, short hair, tall/thin, blonde, brunette.
Actually, I perceive him as a non-distinct Spirit that surrounds with loving kindness…and one who loves and only wants the best for his children
Others may see him differently, but no matter how you perceive God, just know that you are Chosen and you are Loved. And the only requirement that was left with us was to
Love One Another as I have Loved you’
And what wisdom that is because LOVE covers all ills.
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great week.
Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 12 13 2020
There it was—the true Light [was then] coming into the world [the genuine, perfect, steadfast Light] that illumines every person.
10 He came into the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him [did not know Him]. John 1:9-10 Amplified Classic
Once in a Manger
Before there was Santa and reindeer and snow,
A star shone down on humble beginnings below
Of a baby just born who the world would soon know.
Never before had there been such a sight.
Would the Son of a King have to suffer this plight?
Aren't there armies to lead? Aren't there battles to fight?
Shouldn't He conquer the world and demand His birthright?
No, this frail little infant asleep in the hay
Would change the whole world with the words He would say.
Not about power or demanding His way,
But mercy and loving and forgiving God's way.
For only through humbleness would the battle be won
As shown by the actions of God's only true Son.
Who gave up His life for the sins of everyone,
Who saved the whole world when His journey was done.
Many years have now passed since that night long ago
And now we have Santa and reindeer and snow
But down in our hearts the true meaning we know,
It is the birth of that child that makes Christmas so.
Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 11 29 2020
Happy Sunday. I apologize for no Sunday Scripture link up last Sunday. I knew I'd be away for one week, but forgot it would be Sunday through Sunday. I enjoyed my time because it was nice to be out of my house and spent staying with my grandson while his parents enjoyed a much needed get away. My daughter is a Nurse, and it has become more stressful at her work with the increase in the cases of Covid-19 in our county/state.
My prayer is that God will erase this dreaded virus soon so no more have to suffer. I hope all are well this Sunday and in the future days/weeks to come.
It certainly does seem as though we are in the midst of wolves in so many ways in this year of 2020 with all that has been happening. Protests, vicious needless murders, the Covid, lockdowns in so many states, and then the uproar of the recent election. Prayers for discernment is much needed in these times. I for one am not looking forward to 2021, but will pray on bended knee for it to be a much better year for all people in this whole world of ours.  2019 was a sad year with deaths in the family, then 2020 arrived, and it hasn't been much better with lock downs and curfews as well as all the sadness in the news. We can rejoice though because we know who is in charge and He knows how His plan will work out. Patience is a virtue in these times.
Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 10 25 2020
I am blessed to be a Daughter of the Heavenly Father. We were created to be special in so many ways. The same way that God nurtures our Faith, we nurture our families and loved ones. We wear many hats and walk in many shoes throughout our life from birth to senior citizen. As a daughter of the LORD, walking in righteousness with a Loving heart is the best gift that we can give anyone.
Please share a scripture blessing, even if only in the comment section if you don't have a blog to share and link up. I welcome visitors and comments. Just even if you simply scribble Hello.
And as always, a blessing would be to visit others who have shared and leave them a comment.
Have a Blessed Sunday and week ahead.
