Playing with the features photo programs. The Out of Bounds above is made with Adobe Photoshop.
The Kaleidoscope is made using Paint Shop from the photo of the hens and chickens photo. The programs make it easy to have fun with the photos you have taken.

Sewing and crafting keep me busy with something to do. Some I've sold when my Etsy shop was active, some I sell on eBay, or to anyone who has an interest.  

What keeps you busy?

Well, this weekend starts July and of course celebrations of July 4th. I will be away so there won't be a Pictorial Tuesday next Tuesday, July 4th. I'm excited to be with my kids for the celebrations, and really looking forward to it as I do need a getaway for a while. If you're celebrating have a great time.

And so it begins where I live in Ohio

 I do apologize for last week's lack of a link up. Things got away from me, and actually, I forgot to post.

For this week, I have the snow videos above, and some crafting and bit of thrifting.

Sewed some project bags for my crochet and knitting projects.

Some Thrifting:

A little thrifted tree. Looks in new condition. Pre-lit and couldn't pass up for hallway. 

Metal reindeer very cheap. Only needed a ribbon added. Glitter still really good.

This tree branch flowers light up on a 4 hour timer. Couldn't get a good pic of it lit.

Flitter camdles with timers. They were new in box. Not sure why someone would donate but guess just didn't want.

These gold wicker balls were in a bag with gold ribbon. Just thought cute addition to Christmas decor.

Pictorial Potpourri Tuesday Link Up 7 19 2022

 My son's family found a baby crow that was injured a few weeks ago. They took it to the Bird Sanctuary, and they said we could come back in week or so to see how the bird was doing and gave us passes to tour and visit the birds. Sadly though, we found out when we visited that the bird's wing was too broken and the leg too so it couldn't be fixed correctly and it didn't make it. If he'd made it, once well, my son's family could have been the ones to release it.

Some pictures below from the Sanctuary. Was an interesting place to visit and see all the stories of how the birds got there and their story. Some will probably never leave. We were able get food and the little birds would come sit and eat. So cute. Those will eventually be released back into the wild.

Pictures not great quality. Their cages weren't really in sun but more in shady areas.

This guy below; the Barn Owl was so funny to watch

I have a video of the little bird they found but I'm not including because so sad to see how hungry it was. The mom is still in the tree with two other babies, but she couldn't help the one that fell because of it's wing and leg. Guess even though it didn't make it, it was better than if it had been left for another animal to kill it since it was defenseless.

On another note, latest craft is a project bag that I made for my crochet/knitting. Pattern was found on Ali's YouTube channel at Little Drops of Wonderful.

Thanks for visiting, sharing, and linking up your photography, graphics, crafts with Peabea Scribbles. I haven't been doing graphics as much lately because I'm trying to get back to sewing more things that I sell in my Etsy shop. Loving the new sewing machine. It has a few more options than my previous one. I sold my Serger, which I'm kind of regretting now that I'm sewing more. If you're into sewing, there are some great tutorials on YouTube. I wonder if they still do home economics in school. That's where I got a taste of sewing, and from there I bought a book and taught myself. If they don't still do Home Ec, they should. It was so helpful; especially if you're one to like that type of thing. I still have my recipe's that were written during that class, but none of the sewing. My handwriting sure has changed from then. 😊

Pictorial Potpourri Tuesday Link Up 5 3 2022

I planted these little flowers when we moved in our house in 1978. Then I totally ignored them, mowed them down each Spring or hubby did until I told him they weren't a weed. Anyway, they've spread and full bloom again this Spring. I like to bring them in for a bit of color. They're so tiny, and dainty. Think they're called grape? Not sure.

So, did some thrifting with the son's family. Below is some of my finds. 

These planters in the thrift store looked like new. Good thing is it is metal, remove the flowers and you have a watering can with long spout for hard to reach watering like hanging baskets.

A Vera Bradly back pack purse. Looks brand new.

This pillow isn't from thrifting. I made two of them with outdoor material for my new chairs on the front porch.

I started sewing when at home on my mom's treadle sewing machine. Then I bought my own when married. The older kind that swings up out of the cabinet, and I had that from the 1970's until the 2000. Then I bought a new portable one with some fancy stitches, and I love, love it and has been great machine for 13 years. So, where I'm going with this is that being me, I now bought another new portable with more fun stitches, presser foots to use, and just a bit of an upgrade. Nothing majorly expensive since I don't sew for a living, and machines can get really pricey. I do sew and sell on Etsy or Ebay. So I'm excited to get back into sewing more. Lately, I had dropped off the sewing and more into crafting and digiscrapping.

I went from a Singer to a Brother. We'll see how it goes, but so far I tried it out and seems pretty basic to use.

Well, was trying to post picture of the new machine, but for some reason, it isn't uploading. Next time because I'll probably share some sewing along with a potpourri of other things.
