Sunday Scripture 9 7 2025

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints, and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
Hebrews 4:12-13

  • God knows all and he knows us.
  • Live life as though a thoughtful parent who loves you as Jesus does is right there beside you in all you do. God's word is sharp as a teaching parent and when needed it is a reminder of how our actions should be same as a loving parent
Happy Sunday, and have a Great Week

Pictorial Tuesday Linkup 6 6 2023

Apparently you might have to hit play twice.

I went up to water the flowers on my hubby's grave, and sometimes I don't take Razzy because it's later in day after the sun isn't so hot. But, decided to take him along. It's only up the road from me. I pumped the water at the well, and watered his grave. Went around to the pump again to get water to  do his mom and dad's grave. Anyway, Razzy kept whining. It was because when I do take him to the cemetery, it is to take a walk. I wasn't going to, but he insisted so we took a walk. Animals just have a way of getting their way. Couldn't help it because of his cute little whine.  😊

Well, the seeds that I started in March didn't pan out too good so I ended up buying annuals. Most around at the nurseries that I saw aren't looking too healthy so hoping they get better. I did still put some of my small seedling in the planters so we'll see.

It is already so hot here. Up towards 90's but I love it. No air in yet,but there has been a nice breeze here so windows could be opened to help a bit. The grandson will put my air conditioners in for me sometime soon. He's a busy 16 year old. He works every day now that school is out plus his mechanic work. I told him he needs to rest some. He never stops, but that's good. I kinda remember being young and all that energy. haha

Hope all are enjoying June. Have a great week. Last week was a busy one for me. Kids took me shopping and thrifting all day. Wore me out, but was fun. Then celebrated my sister's 79'th birthday. We had a fun day eating and then thrifting.

Love seeing your visits. Thank you. Link up is open.

My POW is John Conger who is from Columbus Ohio. I do not know him or his family, but adopted  his name to try to continue to bring all the POW's home or ones that were left behind.

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 3 28 2023

A million apologies for those who stopped by last Tuesday week. I did totally forget that I forgot to do it until later in the week. I kept thinking I had done it. It finally dawned on me that Tuesday had come and gone, and there was no Pictorial Tuesday post.

So here we are, the last one of March already. If you celebrate the beautiful message of Easter, I can't believe it's next weekend. Sunday is Palm Sunday already. Easter is early this year. Some years it's like that and others it's later in April. It has crept up so not sure of any plans for my family yet. I miss having little ones for the fun of the Bunny...well, too, I miss all the candy that I ate while filling the baskets.

Who doesn't love when they come across a covered bridge. Just have to drive through.

Link up is open. I do appreciate those who stop by and share their love of photography, digital art, or crafting.

Pictorial Potpourri Tuesday Link Up 9 27 2022

Was lazy and really didn't want to mow. The sun was kind of out, but one of those blustery days, and temp only in 50's and maybe up to 60. But, I put on my warm, furry hoodie and did the mowing. I'd been putting it off last week because was a busy week. I do not like to mow. It takes me at least hour and half to two hours. That was the hubby's job. He loved it.

Also, after last week's post about going to Put-In-Bay, my oldest sister fell and massacured her arm. It could be saved, but had to have her upper arm where it connects fixed. Guess meant new rotator cuff and whatever that entails. She's 78, and fell down the outdoor stairs going to feed her cats. Yes, she is an old cat lady. haha not really. She only has one indoor, and one outdoor. Anyway, glad we got to get our trip in that she enjoyed. She's doing okay.We did determine that the toe part of her flip flop sandal caught with the edge of the stair instead of getting her full foot on. So, I think being of old age myself, I'll not wear them anymore. Well, that enough about that. lol

One of my favorite photos from this time of year. My grandson when little. His first time to picking his pumpkin from a farm patch instead of at stores. He got his in his wagon and off he went without waiting for his mom or me. lol He had so much fun. Hard to believe he's now 16 and getting his driving license next week.

Love Fall, but not what comes after. Fun seeing all the pumpkins by the roadside that farmers and others are selling along with the colorfun mums.

Another favorite from this time of year. The grand-daughter helping me rake leaves. ha ha

Crafting: Made couple crochet pumpkins so far. And, still working on trying to master the dpn knitting of how they do socks on either 4 or 5 needles. I've figured out how to cast them all on and get started, but keep getting ladder stitches. Also crocheting a cowl. Will share that craft after get it done. Working on some project bags as well. Not ready to share yet.

Hope all are having a good week. Link up is open. So appreciate all who visit and link up or just say hello. :)

Sunday Scripture Blessings 1 9 2022

When the Lord divided Canaan among the tribes of Israel, Levi received no share of the land. God said to him simply, "I am thy part and thine inheritance," and by those words made him richer than all his brethren, richer than all the kings and rajas who have ever lived in the world. And there is a spiritual principle here, a principle still valid for every priest of the Most High God. from A W Tozer book.

Early on with new religion (acceptance of God), there is a hunger, a want. To keep that would be great. How do I do that? I have become mundane and sometimes even have been letting doubt creep in. I remember the early days, the longing to know more, to gain knowledge. Maybe as Tozer says, it is a simple as God Love. Maybe trying to make it more complicated is my problem Accept is as it is ~ LOVE. pb 4-21-2020

"God is thy part and thine inheritance". God is our richness ~ all we need.

Happy Sunday, and so far so good with the New Year for me. Except, so many around are getting the Covid. I pray continually for God to just wipe it out, and seems it is getting milder cases. Prayers it is on its way out.

Link up is open below, and thank you to all who come and share a blessing with a scripture.

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 10 26 2021

What I'm Scribbling about this week:

My sisters and I frequently walk in the cemetery so last week, I thought I'd take a picture of our mysterious monument. So there is a mystery or maybe just a point of conversation in our town at the local cemetery. Story is below, and thought just fun for Halloween this week. Muahahaha

Actually, it's not spooky at all. lol

For anyone digging up stories about Marion’s spookier side, the Merchant grave is the natural starting point. In fact, it would be hard to find anyone in Marion who hasn’t at least heard of the grave and its mysterious revolving ball. Ripley himself deemed it interesting enough to include in his newspaper column in 1929.

n 1886 the Merchant family of Marion constructed what they thought would be a beautiful and fitting grave monument for their family burial plot in Marion Cemetery. Within two years after its construction, someone noticed that the 5,200 pound polished granite ball atop the pedestal had begun to rotate. The only unpolished spot on the ball was now visible, indicating the ball was on the move. The Merchant family, being concerned about this, brought the erection crew back to the site to re-set the ball. It was not long before the ball again began its now continuous movement.

Various explanations have been proposed for the ball’s movement: the Coriolis effect, the seasonal expansion and contraction of the ball, seismic activity. However, since it’s a grave, there are also those who suspect some otherworldly explanation. Still, there is no record of any gruesome or even untoward stories about the Merchant family that would suggest that their grave should be haunted. The real reason behind the ball’s movement remains a mystery.

Went with the son and family last week to a fun area that have mennonite stores. I grabbed some indian corn and couple pumpkins for decoration.

The last of my dahlias since the weather has turned cold so had to bring in. Sad to see all the flowers go.

But more sad to see Summer go. I use to not mind Winter, but not a fan anymore. We're already in the 40's of a night time, and almost down to the 30's of a night time and we've two months to go until Winter officially begins. :(

Have a great week. The link up is open below until Saturday.

Wow, I just looked on my calendar last night. Didn't realize we're in the last full week before Christmas. The months seem to be flying by so fastly. Hope all are doing well wherever you live, and keeping safe.

Just some graphics since I don't really have any great, new photos to share. Love making graphics anyway so that's my share this week. Thanks for stopping by Peabea Scribbles and sharing your love of photography or photography art. Link is open below.

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 11 3 2020

Recycling from a few years back.

The top photos are of a local cemetery in a small town that I go through sometimes on way to grocery. Tree is my spruce when the weather was much nicer than it has been lately. We had first snow yesterday with horrible winds, but snow didn't stick or anything. Just a light dusting. So not ready as I'm still in the Summer mindset. Seems way too soon.

Pictorial Tuesday is each Tuesday for those who love photography, and their creativeness with photography, and would like to share with others.

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 10 27 2020 ~ Blizzard

Softly blows the breeze
that whispers through the trees
As snowflakes fall,
each unique shape circles around
and eventually make it to the ground
As one by one they pile atop another

As the whisper turns to a GROWL
the snowflakes dance and swirl
painting the trees and landscape a lucious white
as fast and furious as a painter's brush
using the world as his canvas ~ and he names it
'Blizzard'

In my mind, I'm still in Spring mode, but the cold wintery weather is almost here though. No snow yet, but the daytime highs are dreary and cold. The photo above is down the road from my house in a prior winter. Soon to be coming again though. Love soft snows, but not blustery and miserably cold ones.

Hope your week is going good as we welcome the last week of October. Months are swirling by too quickly for my liking.
