How glorious to be a child of God because we know who is in charge, who has control, and he knows how the story will go. Praise Jesus and with a loving heart, Love one Another.
In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his beings, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he inherited is superior to theirs.
The Son Superior to Angels
For to which of the angels did God every say, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father"? And again when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship him." In speaking of the angels he says, "He makes his angels spirits, and his servants flames of fire." But about the Son he says, Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy."
Hebrews 1:1-9

The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17 AMP
It is Friday night, and I'm getting this ready tonight instead of Saturday night. I hope all have weathered all the storms. As we were getting the dumping of snow, I heard there were tornado warnings in some areas so hopefully, those did not happen.
Welcome to February.
We welcomed it with 12 inches or more of snow. A sweet young man came on his four wheeler this morning and plowed my drive. I live out from town so I usually get the big drifts around my house. I could barely skinny out to let my pupper Razzy do his business. He wanted to run right back in with all the snowing, freezing rain and sleet. But, we made it, and the weather is much quieter tonight as I type this.
This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
When the Lord divided Canaan among the tribes of Israel, Levi received no share of the land. God said to him simply, "I am thy part and thine inheritance," and by those words made him richer than all his brethren, richer than all the kings and rajas who have ever lived in the world. And there is a spiritual principle here, a principle still valid for every priest of the Most High God. from A W Tozer book.
Early on with new religion (acceptance of God), there is a hunger, a want. To keep that would be great. How do I do that? I have become mundane and sometimes even have been letting doubt creep in. I remember the early days, the longing to know more, to gain knowledge. Maybe as Tozer says, it is a simple as God Love. Maybe trying to make it more complicated is my problem Accept is as it is ~ LOVE. pb 4-21-2020
"God is thy part and thine inheritance". God is our richness ~ all we need.
Happy Sunday, and so far so good with the New Year for me. Except, so many around are getting the Covid. I pray continually for God to just wipe it out, and seems it is getting milder cases. Prayers it is on its way out.
Link up is open below, and thank you to all who come and share a blessing with a scripture.
Note: All artwork and elements other than the scripture are from Anna Aspeness Designs. I only manipulated to make it my display. Thank you Anna for your beautiful work.
Wishing all many blessings, health, and happiness in the New Year. May it be one of new beginnings for betterment for all. Hope all have had a nice Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas holidays.
9 There it was—the true Light [was then] coming into the world [the genuine, perfect, steadfast Light] that illumines every person.
10 He came into the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him [did not know Him]. John 1:9-10 Amplified Classic
And it came to pass in tose days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria. And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, unto Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
I am always blessed by those who stop by with their linkup, and also the comments of hello. Hope your week has been good, and an even better one next week. Prayers for those who had tornadoes this past week, and so sad with the lives that were lost.
Lord Jesus, we are all tempted to live without peace. It is not easy for us to remember that our peace is ultimately found in our status as believers, like your children. Help us to see the times when we have lived without peace and forgive us for our transgression. Set our minds on you, that we may remember you are the prince of peace, and our security comes from you alone. Teach us that this peace is inward, everlasting, and can exist regardless of our circumstances. In whatever way you believe is best, teach us how to live in that peace every day. We ask for that in your holy name, Amen.

Second Advent: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Hebrews 9:28
Link up is open below. Blessings for this second week of Advent.
Tree decorating are starting to make their appearance in homes, and brightly lit decorations don the outside of homes. We are in the first week of Advent ~ HOPE. After the last year, and this year that we've been having, there is always hope with Christ. Hope of things to come, the eradication of this terrible virus called Covid-19, and blessings of all kinds. We have the promise of Hope always. The trees and decorations are signs that all still have Hope of better days because we believe.
Just scribbline about Hope and Love that came down on that night with a babe born in a stable.
Reading today, November 28 is from 1 Peter 1:2-3
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sancitification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace be multiplied. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
The hope was in what was to come, and the love that is always.
A prophecy concering Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshire.
The Lord is a jealous and avenging God; the Lord takes vengeance on his foes and vents his wrath against his enemies. The Lord is slow to anger but great in power; the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished. His way is in the whirlwind and the storm, and clouds are the dust of his feet. He rebukes the sea and dries it up; he makes all the rivers run dry. Bashan and Carmel wither and the blossoms of Lebanon fade. The mountains quake before him and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, the world and all who live in it. Who can withstand his indignation? Who can endure his fierce anger? His wrath is poured out like fire; the rocks are shattered before him.
The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him, but with an overwhelming flood he will make an end of Nineveh; he will pursue his foes into the realm of darkness.
NAHUM 1:1-8
I've rarely read Nahum, but thought would share some of this scripture today.
Just some of my thankfulness. Now your turn:
I AM THANKFUL FOR: _____________________________________________________.
Also thankful for those who visit and share a blessing scripture each week. Happy Sunday and Happy Thanksgiving.
The God Who produced and formed the world and all things in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in handmade shrines.
Neither is He served by human hands, as though He lacked anything, for it is He Himself Who gives life and breath and all things to all [people].
"The branch cannot bear fruit of itself." — Joh_15:4
"From him all my fruit must be found, for no fruit can ever come from me." We are taught, by past experience, that the more simply we depend upon the grace of God in Christ, and wait upon the Holy Spirit, the more we shall bring forth fruit unto God. Oh! to trust Jesus for fruit as well as for life.
Solomon seems to be pondering why he is doing so many things in his life because who comes after him, may not continue. (Yea, I hated all my labour which I had taken under the sun: because I should leave it unto the man that shall be after me. And who knoweth whether he shall be a wise man or a fool? yet shall he have rule over all labour wherein I have laboured, and wherein I have shewed myself wise under the sun. This is also vanity. He concludes in chaper 3:22 that Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?
Our portion is what we make of God's gifts. Not to worry about what comes after on earth. Seems Solomon is needlessly worrying over what he has no control; only God does.
(only my take on all this.) Always appreciate any input/thoughts how Ecclesiastes is interpreted by others. Nice to have discussions with others about what the Bible says to them. Thoughts?
Hope all are enjoying October. Have a happy Sunday.
I have to admit there is no way that I can sing all the way through or even listen to this song without the tears flowing. He IS the BREATH in OUR LUNGS He breathed life into us even before we were born as we lay in our mother's womb. He breathed life into our lungs as we emerged into this world, and the most awesome part of his breath was when he took his last on the cross, he breathed life into our lungs as Christians.
You give life, You are love You bring light to the darkness You give hope, You restore Every heart that is broken Great are you Lord

In lieu of sharing a Scripture today, I am letting Casting Crowns share their scripture with this song. Thanks for visiting Sunday Scripture Blessings. :) Have a great week ahead.

There is just something about this weed....maybe the intrigue of whether it is actually one that is good for you like Queen Anne's Lace or the not so good one Hemlock. I can never tell for sure, but if you do know the difference, from what I have read, one is good for many things. Kind of reminds me of how God fits into our lives. Some things are good for us; others not so much.
May they who love you be like
the sun when it rises in its strength
