A cookie bake with my girl was so much fun. I think, no I know 😀 she did more work than I did. It's not something that we normally do, but fun to spend the day with her. Those are rare since she works a lot, and is busy with family. That added greatly to my holiday.
Cannot believe we have started the holiday season here in Ohio. Some lights are popping up since Thanksgiving. Seems we decorate earlier and earlier. When I was a child, my parents decorated on Christmas Eve. However, I don't think they decorated the way people do now. My mom, after her divorce, was a single parent. My sisters and I could go down to the corner store and pick a fresh cut tree and drag it home.
Advent calendar I got my son and wife. We do like the Keurig pods, and this was at (c)Kohls for only $15.99 so couldn't resist. We never do those either. Different Christmas for me, different mood. He sent me a video of opening on the first few days of this month.
