Pictorial Potpourri Tuesday Link Up 10 25 2022

Note: child photo is provided free from Pexels.com. A real cutie, but not one of mine.

A bit of digital graphics since I really don't have any new photography. Top one is new. Others, I have shared before.

Did some thrifting. Here's latest

Hallmark's vintage Bunnies By The Sea. They're so cute, and look to be well kept. Since I thrift for myself and resale, these two will be sold.

I am amazed that this is the last Pictorial in October. Most of the leaves on my trees are down. Today, I did my last mowing so I could mulch the leaves at the same time. It's been cold with the heat on, but this week, we're in the 70's.

Thank you all for the good thoughts on last week's Pictorial. It's still up in the air, but hopefully gets better as the days go on. All were appreciated.

Have a great week. Link up is open.

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 2 21 2020

Time for some Photography sharing and some digital scrapbooking. Hoping all are staying well in this what they are calling our new norm of social distancing.

Nice to see all who stop by. The link up is open for your sharing of your photography, digital graphics, and photo artwork. Please try to visit at least one other who shares here. Have a great week. Today is a very sunny day so that makes for a good mood, and I got the mowing done. Takes me two hours to mow, and it was tall so it doesn't look very well this time. The rain seems to be visiting every other day or the cold weather shows back up, which makes mowing not on a good schedule. I'm so ready for it to be just sunshine and Spring like days. Stay well.

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 12 4 18 and free gift

Getting into the swing of December already. Tree is up, and I'm way ahead of any other year. Presents are purchased, wrapped, and bows have been applied. Maybe the fact that we had snow all the last part of November, which hasn't been the norm in the last years, helped. As I placed the presents under the tree yesterday my furbaby, Razzy, was getting excited. How to explain to the puppy that it is early, and not time for his gift unwrapping. He had to sniff each present so his nose probably told him none for him yet. He did sit by the tree in a pretty pose for me for a bit even without me asking. haha I took a picture with my phone, but it doesn't take the greatest photos. It turned out blurry even though I tried to manipulate it with Adobe. By the time I thought to get my camera, he was out of the posing mood.

I found a truck on Pixels.com where they share free photos and also a pine tree so I made some tags to share. I kept seeing the red truck or vehicle on sites with the tree on the top so decided I wanted to make my own. I turned them into a gift for all of you of gift tags if you like. Just cut apart, punch a hole for a string or not. You could also add any words you might like using your photo program and printer. Just click on the picture below to open and print them. I also have them in PDF form that you can download HERE if you prefer. Hope you enjoy.

Best if printed on cardstock or thicker paper. I found some pretty glitter paper at Pat Catan's that I used to print mine.

Happy December. If you like my snowman kit above, contact me and I'll give the link for a free download.

Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 11 18 18

24 O Lord, how many and varied are Your works! In wisdom have You made them all; the earth is full of Your riches and Your creatures.25 Yonder is the sea, great and wide, in which are swarms of innumerable creeping things, creatures both small and great.26 There go the ships of the sea, and Leviathan (the sea monster), which You have formed to sport in it.27 These all wait and are dependent upon You, that You may give them their food in due season.28 When You give it to them, they gather it up; You open Your hand, and they are filled with good things.29 When You hide Your face, they are troubled and dismayed; when You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.30 When You send forth Your Spirit and give them breath, they are created, and You replenish the face of the ground.31 May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord rejoice in His works—
Psalm 104:24-31 AMPC
Watching a Nature program about Squirrels and Chipmunks on Saturday, and this scripture seemed to fit perfectly for God's wonderful creations. I don't really think much about the squirrel and its daily habits. They're fun to watch and amazing when they bury a nut and it doesn't even seem as if the earth has been disturbed. Apparently one species (I'll never remember which is which), hides the nuts and then their brain enlarges so they can remember where they hid them after their winter hibernation, and then the brain goes back to size. Another species buries underground and even in Alaska's below temperatures, even underground where they hibernate can go below zero temperatures, but the squirrel doesn't freeze to death. It hibernates, but doesn't freeze and during the winter cycle, the squirrel shivers at times to bring his temp back up and it survives. The tree squirrel can jump the equivalent of a human jumping to buses. They evaluate the nuts that they pick up before keeping to see if has weevils, rot, etc. and if okay, they shake their head to the side as if to say this one passes. The flying squirrel and its wing span was interesting of how far they can fly once they get in the air. Anyway, it was an interesting Nature program. While watching, it was extremely awesome to think that we cannot even fathom all the wonders that God has provided to humans and to nature.
So may the glory of the Lord endure forever, and we rejoice in His works every day even in the smallest creatures.
Happy Sunday

Pictorial Tuesday 10 9 18

A few years ago, my daughter gave me this unusual and beautiful Lily. First time I'd ever seen one.

The Calla Lilies are in bloom again.
Such a strange flower.
Beautiful to any occasion.
(this was a quote I found at the time, but not sure when Calla Lilies do bloom) :)

You're next for sharing your photography with Pictorial Tuesday. It can be straight out of the camera photos, edited to make a graphic or photo art. Thanks for sharing, and try to visit one or a few others who have shared their photos and just say hello.

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 5 22 18

One of my new flowers in the flower garden this year ~ a Takion Blue Bellflower. Hoping it is hardy where I planted it because I really like it. Says bloom season is Spring so didn't really realize that when I bought it, but will grace my Spring each year. I'm partial to blue so liking the color.

Excerpt about the flower taken from perennials.com
The Peach-leaved Bellflowers are popular old cottage garden perennials, cultivated for centuries. This is an outstanding compact strain, with the classic cup-shaped violet-blue bell flowers but with a more showy outfacing habit. Excellent for cutting. Removing individual faded flowers will keep plants blooming for weeks on end. Easy to please in any sunny border setting and terrific in containers. A recent introduction, this F1 hybrid was developed by breeder American Takii.

Thanks for sharing your photography, digital graphics, and photography artwork at Pictorial Tuesday. Please try to visit one or two others that have linked and leave them a hello.
