Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 4 9 2019 Spring

Spring...
the earth is warming when the sun shows it's full face.
It warms the soul, when winter it replaces
Doors and windows spring open, people emerge
to the morning sounds of the bird's songs
for a walk in the gentle breeze that announces
The earth is warming, enjoy the day
for Spring Has Arrived... - pb

Made a happy, cheerful, flowery digital graphic for this week's Pictorial Tuesday with an attempt at a poem to accompany. lol

Now your turn: Pictorial Tuesday is for sharing your photography, photo art, or digital graphics. Thank you.

Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 9 1 18

In deciding to now do my reading on Jesus' words only, I am finding that Jesus did not mince words.

Matthew 5:21 through 5:26 Jesus talks on Anger and reconciliation.

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment. But I say unto you, that whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment; and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar and there remembered that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. Agree with thine adversary quickly wiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.

Don't kill
Don't utter a term of reproach and contempt (Raca) to your brother
Don't call your brother a fool
Make peace

As we know, niceness (a bit of sugar) goes a long way compared to (vinegar). :)

Please feel free to link up a Scripture Blessing and try to visit at least one or more others to say hello.

Pictorial Tuesday with Link Up 7 24 18

This week I made a graphic showcasing my Tess. She was a kitten that showed up at our campsite, stayed the week-end, very hungry (we all took turns sharing food with her), and she was still there when we left on Sunday. I couldn't get her out of my mind so I headed back over to the lake a few days later to see if she was still there. At first, there was disappointment because I didn't see her, and then she came running meowing. I took her home. We only had Tess about four years when her story turns sad. She was too young to have heart failure the vet said when I took her to the Vet on a Wednesday, but she was very sick and died a few days later.

Tess loved to play hide and seek. Can you find her hiding among my flowers? Sometimes at first, I wouldn't notice her at all. These furbabies sure do tear at the heart sometimes. Tess has been gone almost 10 years now, but she is missed always.

If you'd like to have the graphic frame I made, here is one below without my watermark. Just right click and save. Hope you enjoy.

Time to link up and share your photography, graphic art, or a photo turned into art. Thanks for sharing.

Sunday Scripture Blessings 3 11 18

The crux of what Jesus is saying in Luke 11:9-10 is best explained when reading what is said as a whole so I should have added the rest of it in my photo graphic to include: Luke 11:11-13
Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!

My plan was to read the Gospels heading into the Easter season and be done by Easter Sunday. That way, I have refreshed my reading of Jesus' words and in person message to us as he walked our Earth. How glorious that must have been for the disciples.

I have finished Luke and now head on to the reading of John.

My bunny photo is from another Spring, but I am so ready to see the bunnies and the robins out playing and the early morning chirping of birds, and Coffee early morning on the patio. Alas though, the weather isn't quite there yet.

Thanks for visiting, and I look forward to your scripture sharing. They each are a blessing. Please try to visit at least a couple others who have linked. And as always, if you don't have a blog, you are always welcome to leave a scripture in the comment section. Even though I may not reply on this blog because Blogger doesn't link those reply comments to the author, I do visit each and comment there.

Happy Sunday

Pictorial Tuesday ~ 1 30 18

Was working on learning to make the cut outs that you see as squares in this border. When using Adobe Photoshop CS, you use the eraser and set the eraser with spacing of about 300. However, I usually use Adobe Photoshop Elements (currently upgraded from 12 to the 2018 version), and setting the eraser is a bit different but can be done.  Always fun to learn something new for my graphics, and YouTube is wonderful for tutorials.

Making the film strip was fun to do also. It is done the same way using a square eraser or square brush. I followed the YouTube tutorial below to make a film strip:

We are still having winter...bummer. I know, we still have a few more months so I'm not looking forward to February or March weather at all. Can you believe we just started the New Year of 2018, and already only one more day and January has run its course for this year. So far, it has not been too bad. It wasn't too eventful. A doctor visit, bills paid (yay-that's always a plus), I was needed to babysit two of the grandbabykins so had a sleep over at one's house so I could get him on the bus the next morning while his mom was at work, and the other was at a hotel while her parents had a bit of time out. She and I spent some time in the pool, then a movie and snack time. I enjoyed getting out of the house so for me that was like a really mini-mini vacation. haha

Snow covered Tree:

Tonight it is snowing and the wind is howling. We aren't suppose to get that much accumulation so hoping not like week before last when the wind drifted the snow around and we couldn't plow out of the driveway for a couple of days.

You're next for sharing your Pictorial Tuesday photography or graphics. Thanks to all who stop by and share a link or comment.

Happy Tuesday

Sunday Scripture Blessings ~ 12 3 17 ~ HOPE

A shoot shall come out from the stump of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots. The spirit of the LORD shall rest on him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. His delight shall be in the fear of the LORD.
(taken from (c)Pittsburgh Theological Seminary)

As we begin to celebrate Advent we have HOPE:
For I know the plans I have for you, "declares the LORD," plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you HOPE and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)

but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. (Isaiah 40:31 NIV)

May the God of HOPE fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with HOPE by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13 NIV)

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one HOPE when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
(Ephesians 4:4 NIV)

As we celebrate Advent, I am following a couple different devotionals, one called Unwrapping Advent by Margaret Feinberg and also one by the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary as well as my own that I've planned out.

H ~ His name is called Mighty Counselor
O ~ One God and Father of All
P ~ Plans He has for us
E ~ Emmanuel

Pictorial Tuesday 10 24 17

Razzy is my FurBaby. Razzy is now 6. Each of our children had a dog, and not long after the daughter was out on her own, our last furbaby, Kassy, passed. So, we had decided no more dogs, right? Well, 7 years passed, and I decided I wanted another one. Hubby was out on the road so I called to ask if he minded if I got a dog. He said up to me since I'd be the one training, etc. as he traveled. Anyway, when I called, I already had Razzy. When hubby got home, he said..I didn't think you meant right away. haha I knew he would love him and he does, and has spoiled him. Even though Razzy is mostly my furbaby, he shares his time for babying between both of us.

This is Chelsea is our first Grand-furbaby (she just visited this past weekend)
When my son got a divorce, Chelsea came home for a bit with him...that was over 7 year ago. Anyway, Chelsea was not house broke at all, and she was about 4 or 5 at the time. So, the job came to me since our son was home again with his dog, and was apparent, he did not know how to train a dog. Chelsea is my proof that older dogs are trainable. She's a good pup now and asks to go out and to come back in. Chelsea is getting on in years. She's about 12 now. Lazy as can be and very much has separation anxiety when my son is not around her. Son has remarried, and the dog went with him.
That's Chelsea's Story

This is Ghost our second Grand-furbaby. Ghost belongs to my daughter, her hubby, and my grandson. Last year at Christmas, my now son-in-law asked my daughter to take Ghost out. And when she took his leash, there was an engagement ring attached. He then proposed to my daughter. They were married this past July in a beautiful wedding. Ghost is timid, but he is getting use to when I visit and doesn't bark as much. Soon as I'm in a bit, I give him a treat, and then he rolls over for a belly rub. haha
That's Ghost's Story

That's My Dog Tales ~smiles~

Pictorial Tuesday 10 10 17

When I looked out and the sun was casting such a pretty glow, I had to grab the camera. Wish I could have captured it better because the way the sun was shining over the field was very pretty.

Don't you just love when people share their talents. The background is from Creative Markets and the Hello Autumn is found at The Coffee Shop Blog. Hope you will check them both out. Some talented people share their designs at Creative Markets and you can also gather some freebies from them and The Coffee Shop shares most all her talents for free. Stop over and see Rita at The Coffee Shop.

Happy Tuesday, and you're next for sharing at Pictorial Tuesday. Share your photography or graphics or photography art as long as it's family friendly. You can now also share your Instagram photography on the link.

Thanks for sharing, and try to visit other bloggers.

Sunday Scripture Blessings 9 17 You're The Breath

I have to admit there is no way that I can sing all the way through or even listen to this song without the tears flowing. He IS the BREATH in OUR LUNGS

He breathed life into us even before we were born as we lay in our mother's womb. He breathed life into our lungs as we emerged into this world, and the most awesome part of his breath was when he took his last on the cross, he breathed life into our lungs as Christians.

You give life, You are love
You bring light to the darkness
You give hope, You restore
Every heart that is broken
Great are you Lord
Cause
It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise, we pour out our praise
It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise to You only
You give life, You are love
You bring light to the darkness
You give hope, You restore
Every heart that is broken
Great are you Lord

It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise, we pour out our praise
It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise to You only
It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise, we pour out our praise
It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise to You only
-instruments only-
All the earth will shout your praise
Our hearts will cry, these bones will sing
Great are you Lord

It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise, we pour out our praise
It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise to You only
x's 6
Pour out our praise to You only
Pour out our praise to You only

On this Sunday or any day as I listen to this song, I can only say Thank You Jesus for the last breath and first breath on the cross. Amen
