Pictorial Tuesday 11 11 2025

Fall Memory

We had our first snow overnight, but I forgot to go out and snap a photo of it. Love to look at it. Razzy, the pupper, though was a quick out and in today whereas he usually likes to sniff all over the place and hang outside for a while.

Pictorial Tuesday 11 4 2025

Hello November

The tree I left behind when I sold the house. This time of year, I miss seeing my pretty maple tree all turned golden for the Fall season. I saw that the new owners had cut down the other tree, but I don't think they have this one. Makes me glad. It was a baby tree when we bought the house 50 plus years ago.

I have added a link up for sharing photography if you'd want to share what you've been shooting. It will be open until Saturday at noon. Please log to the post and not the website. Thanks.

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 10 31 2023

Scribbling about some Fall and Halloween snaps. Halloween are from years back.

My daughter absolutely loves Halloween. I always had to make her outfits. This is one of her as Catwoman when she was young.

This one is her a few years ago when she and hubby were headed out to a Halloween party. I didn't make that outfit.

Below is some of the kids long ago years that I took with a Polaroid camera.

Hope all have a great last day of October. Link up is open below. Thanks for visiting and linking up or just commenting a hello so I can visit you. :)

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 10 24 2023

Phew…. kids got me all moved. Love the apartment but wow now where to put all this stuff. I pitched and pitched to Goodwill, sold things, and pitched to the trash man, but still a lot of everyday things I need to keep. But, it’ll get settled.

I did so good and didn’t think I’d have bad day, but day I cleaned and all was finally out; seeing the place of 46 years all empty was a sad day. Took the memories with me, but still standing in that empty house all the memories of kids growing up, a lifetime of fun and laughter came flooding in.

A movie of a walk Razzy and I did down to the river that runs behind the apartments.

Razzy is adjusting as he really seemed confused and wanted to get out so he could go home. He’s much better now and likes the walks we take around here.

I did grab a photo of my Maple Tree as I was leaving for last time in its Fall glory.

Link up is open below. Thanks to all who visit and share their photography, crafts, and thrifting.

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 9 03 2023

I may be MIA for a bit. I found a place and get the keys soon so may not see me updating link up for few weeks until all is settled. So, I decided I will leave the link up open until October 28. That might work? Maybe not since not sure there will be notifications. Anyway, will try. So please come back each week and post your pictures.

Cannot believe how much I've accumulated over the 45 years we've lived here. I have pitched, taken to thrift store, sold, and seems like I'm getting no where. Especially since I'm downsizing to a wee small apartment. The kids have all gone through what I had saved for them. Not really big excitement for them as they're all mid age adults. I think was more fun for me. haha I am excited to be moving closer to my daughter's family.

Then will be back to normal blogging schedule. I cannot wait as I am living in complete clutter, which is driving me crazy. Not really.

Happy Fall 🍂🍁

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 9 26 2023

This week's scribbles are about Fall. The time of year when everyone is going to the local Orchards and picking...you know it...APPLES. The weather has cooled down enough for turning on the oven and making apple pie, apple dumplings, apple crumb, and/or best of all when a kid; loved caramel apples. The red candied ones were never a favorite of mine. Others loved them.

Link up is open. Welcome to all who come to visit and/or share a link. Photography, Digital Art, Crafting, Thrifting are welcome to share. No selling please. All work must be your own. Please try to visit others and learn about their blogs. Pictorial Tuesday is posted every Tuesday through Saturday.

Pictorial Potpourri Tuesday Link Up 10 4 2022 ~ Welcome to October

Recycled from another year, but works....

Signs of Fall

The sunsets even seem more amber

Hats and headbands come out as well as jackets

Cozy fires with jackets and something warm to drink

I took a photo of this pretty pop of color in the ditch across from my house that I thought added so much to the other drying weeds. I posted it on my Facebook as a weed, and a friend told me this is actually an Aster. Looked it up and says some Asters tend to get a little wild so is why they are thought of as weeds, but they're not. Says they spread through the Fall. The little purple daisies are so pretty. If weren't so many weeds over there, I might be tempted to take some to grow although they do go wild.

Hope Fall is awesome for everyone. It is already cold here like 50's and 40's already. Last night was in the 30's. I did end up turning the furnace on. Razzy was getting cold; I could brave it...not. 😀

Not turning on worked for while, but then as the days and weeks went on, the chill does tend to spread through the house.

Prayers and continuing prayers are being said for those in the path of the Florida hurricane. So sad. Hope everyone you might know is safe. Those that I know are, thankfully.

Have a good week.

Pictorial Potpourri Tuesday Link Up 9 27 2022

Was lazy and really didn't want to mow. The sun was kind of out, but one of those blustery days, and temp only in 50's and maybe up to 60. But, I put on my warm, furry hoodie and did the mowing. I'd been putting it off last week because was a busy week. I do not like to mow. It takes me at least hour and half to two hours. That was the hubby's job. He loved it.

Also, after last week's post about going to Put-In-Bay, my oldest sister fell and massacured her arm. It could be saved, but had to have her upper arm where it connects fixed. Guess meant new rotator cuff and whatever that entails. She's 78, and fell down the outdoor stairs going to feed her cats. Yes, she is an old cat lady. haha not really. She only has one indoor, and one outdoor. Anyway, glad we got to get our trip in that she enjoyed. She's doing okay.We did determine that the toe part of her flip flop sandal caught with the edge of the stair instead of getting her full foot on. So, I think being of old age myself, I'll not wear them anymore. Well, that enough about that. lol

One of my favorite photos from this time of year. My grandson when little. His first time to picking his pumpkin from a farm patch instead of at stores. He got his in his wagon and off he went without waiting for his mom or me. lol He had so much fun. Hard to believe he's now 16 and getting his driving license next week.

Love Fall, but not what comes after. Fun seeing all the pumpkins by the roadside that farmers and others are selling along with the colorfun mums.

Another favorite from this time of year. The grand-daughter helping me rake leaves. ha ha

Crafting: Made couple crochet pumpkins so far. And, still working on trying to master the dpn knitting of how they do socks on either 4 or 5 needles. I've figured out how to cast them all on and get started, but keep getting ladder stitches. Also crocheting a cowl. Will share that craft after get it done. Working on some project bags as well. Not ready to share yet.

Hope all are having a good week. Link up is open. So appreciate all who visit and link up or just say hello. :)
