This photo is from a few years ago. I need to get into the Christmas spirit and decorate for this year, but haven't found the umph!! so far. It just doesn't seem possible that it is December and 2017 is going to come to a close soon. Seems like it just started. Plus, we have had warmer than normal weather for November and December so maybe if we get some snow they are predicting, it will be for a better decorating mood. Although, I just want a nice, soft falling snow...no big piles of the white stuff. :)
I've been sewing some gifts for my girls so that helps to get the Christmas spirit going, and am crocheting hats for Little Hats Big Hearts that need to be done and mailed soon.
What's going on in your part of the world this week. Look forward to your photography or graphics link ups.

I did finally break down and put up a tree. I miss having little ones as that seems to make the season so much more magical. I enjoy the grandkids, but not the same as if they live here. Snowed a little today. Can snow and then after Christmas, I like for it to leave. haha Enjoyed seeing your visit and comment.
DeleteThe hats are just lovely and they look oh-so-cozy :) I know what you mean about getting into the spirit of Christmas. It seems like it came way too fast this year and I wasn't ready.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy this delightful time, dear one! Hugs!
Ah Stephanie...loved seeing your visit and comment. The hats seem so little, I just hope they actually fit, but that's the size most patterns called for. It gives me something to keep me busy along with my crafts so I'm not so bored and always wanting to snack. haha
DeleteSuch cute and lovely red hats! Hard to believe that Christmas will be here in just under 20 days now!
ReplyDeleteThank you Buckeroomama. I did put up a tree this week, but seemed so strange. It is suppose to snow this week-end so that will set the mood, and I did finally shop some so wrapping will help. haha
DeleteThanks for hosting and have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteHi csuhpati...enjoyed your post and your visit. Thanks..
DeleteThe hats a re great - you're really clever!
ReplyDeleteYou're so kind. I've always crocheted since in grade school, but not original. I follow patterns. Hoping these work out they can use them. They're for Heart Month in February for newborns and preemies. Thanks for visiting and comment. :)
DeleteThanks for linking with #ChristmasLinkUp too.
DeleteI still haven't decorated for Christmas yet - have just been too busy! But I'm hoping to get started on it today. Somehow I missed linking up last week, so I linked two of my Wordless Wednesday posts today - hope that's okay! Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteThat's perfect if you link more than one. I'm thinking you're in Ohio too so you're probably suppose to get some snow as well this week. Will help the Christmas spirit. :) Thanks for visiting and commenting.
DeleteSo cute red hats! We have a similiar action in Germany.
ReplyDeleteThe time flies so fast, I have still some blooming geraniums at my homestairs and I'm not in the mood for Christmas decoration...
Enjoy your time
True, if I still had flowers blooming it would seem strange to think of Christmas decorating. Enjoyed seeing your visit and comment. Thank you. And thanks for saying the hats are cute. I'm hoping they're the right size for the little ones. :)
DeleteSuddenly, the spirit is there :)
ReplyDeleteNice Christmas-red hats!
Hi Villrose...thanks for visiting and always love seeing comments. Thank you. The red hats are for February for local hospitals for newborns for heart month. First year that I've participated. Keeps my hands busy so not wanting to snack all the time. :)
