Speak out to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise with voices and instruments and making melody with all your heart to the LORD.
(oh how wonderful each day would be if we spoke to people with a melody in our voices and smiles on our faces. Some days are like that, but sadly other days aren't with busy lives and schedules. I need to write this scripture on my heart and memory so at least, if a bad day, that I can remember how well this would work.)
At all times and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.
Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
Ephesians 5:19-21

I read this verse out loud just yesterday! Our mowing business is winding down for the year, but so is daylight, so we don't get much done during the week after work. Saturday we mowed 7 lawns and got caught up on our thru' the Bible reading plan driving in the truck between lawns! It was a great day to "speak to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs!"
ReplyDeleteThank you for the wonderful reminder! It would be a better world if we all could have this scripture in our hearts and minds at all times.
ReplyDeletedefinitely a Scripture to remember and apply to all our interactions!
ReplyDeleteMelody in my voice - I'll be thinking on (and working on) that all day today. Thanks for sharing, Pat.
