Pictorial Tuesday 11 29

When in California couple of years ago (my first ever visit there and first ever airplane ride), the son took us to see a Lighthouse at Inverness (it's the one that Adrienne Barbeau does her radio show from in the movie 'The Fog'). It isn't used anymore and can't go to the top, but was an amazing day taking the trip, seeing the Lighthouse, and the Ocean as well as this little fellow as we walked up to the Lighthouse hill (before we walked down the stairs to the Lighthouse ~ a story and photos for another time).

The Beautiful Ocean Coastline at Inverness that day was gorgeous.

Today is another Pictorial Tuesday and I'm looking forward to see what awesome photos or graphics you've been working on.

Fun Note:
Finally, I found a laser printer over the Thanksgiving holiday shopping. I've had my eye on one since last Summer because I saw a YouTube on how to do Foiling, but it only works with a laser print out. Have only tried it on one thing so far, but it turned out great. I found my lamination machine for a few dollars at a thrift store, but they're reasonable at WalMart too.

Here's photo of what I've made so far and the YouTube post if anyone is interested in checking it out for their scrapbooking or Bible Journaling. :)

Original below before foil added.

    1. Hi Ronda...Loved seeing your visit and comment. Yes, I could have stayed there all day just to gaze across the ocean. So many things come to the imagery of what might be happening so far out there and even across the way. :)

  2. The ocean photo is soothing. The west is like a different world to us when we visit our son and his family.

    1. Hi Gayle...Loved that you stopped by and commented. I only got to go the one time, and if hubby wouldn't have minded, I might have just stayed. It is so beautiful there; the scenery. :)

  3. Thank you for hosting! I hope it's okay that I shared a Thanksgiving post that features a free graphic print I made in Photoshop. I also shared a tutorial from a series I have just started about making graphics and editing images.

    Have a wonderful day!!!

    1. When young, the hubby and I lived on the East coast(Virginia) for a winter. We were never there in the Summer but even though very nice, if I had to choose, it would be California and if younger would move out there. Love seeing your visit and comment, and made my day to see your link-up. :)

    1. Hi Kristy...Love seeing your visit, link, and comment. It was and I'll have to do a post on it. My daughter, her babykins, and I went, and it was the first airplane ride for all of us. I always said I would never, ever, never fly...but oh how fun that was. :)

    1. Hi Jeanna and welcome. So nice to see your visit and comment. It was by chance that after that visit and watching an old show not even realized what it was, when Adrienne drove up the road to her radio station, I thought, wow that looks like the road we took to see the lighthouse. And then it showed all those stairs to walk down, and sure enough it was. The show had made the top part to look like her station. When we were at the Lighthouse, there was not mention that it had even been in that show. Also, in that same area is the schoolhouse that was in the movie The Birds.

Thanks for the compliment on the photo too. I could have camped out there for life. haha, but then reality called, and I came back to flat Ohio.

    1. Hi bettyl-NZ...so enjoy seeing your visit and comment. Thanks for visiting and will be fun to have you link up. Appreciate it. Now I just need to get some originality and find ways to use the foiling. Since I'm learning to Journal in my Bible, hoping I can use it some that way too as tip ins. :)
