Sunday Scripture Blessings 8 20

We see so many times in the word that God turns things the way they should go. He did it for Mordecai in the book of Esther. He does it for us every day even when we don't stop and realize.

From my morning reading this Saturday morning:

The little bird that sings in the tree ~ he sings for me. My gift from God in His creation this morning. The song he sings reminds that God is in control. The song reminds that if a little creature as a bird can sing so beautifully ~ how much more are our songs with Love in our hearts. We can rage, we can wail, but to no avail ~ God is in control.

In my daily reading, God is reminding me that when we speak, we should speak with Love ~ Love begets Love and Hatred only fuels worse than hate. And sometimes in that hate, God will use it to send the hater to the gallows (Haman). As in the book of Esther, we are reminded that there is a purpose for all things. A purpose for Queen Vashti to not come before her King. A purpose for Esther to replace Vashti as Queen.

I love the stillness of morning as I sit outside reading the word and drinking my coffee. Razzy loves it too as he accompanies me and lays on the cool cement. My view is not pretty like a well kept neighbors yard ~ rather it is an abandoned building that parts have quickly become a field of weeds. Not even pretty weeds. But as I gaze, a Butterfly I see. Even in the ugly, beauty can be found. God does that. The butterfly may not have found what he needed in the well mowed yards, but he is provided for among the clover in the weed field. As I ponder, I realize that for now, we will still have the ugly until God himself mows it all down. For now, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and beauty still abounds. Have Faith.

You're next for sharing a Scripture. Thank you.

  1. Yes, yes, yes to this: "As I ponder, I realize that for now, we will still have the ugly until God himself mows it all down. For now, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and beauty still abounds. Have Faith."

We have to have faith that the ugly will give way in the end...but not yet...we are still in it...and there can be hope found here too. Bless you for this today!

    1. Hi Joanne, enjoyed seeing your visit and link. Yes, just something about these early Spring and soon to be Fall mornings with their quiet and coolness that warms the heart. Summer has been so hot that I didn't get to do that as much as I like.

    1. Thank you Elizabeth. Some days are better than others when I do my reading and just make myself take a moment to listen. Just read and listen is so calming. And then the butterfly was an added treasure gift. :) Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment.

  5. Amen. Our physical environs are one thing, but the environs of our heart, mind, soul, and spirit are the real environment in which we reside. Praising Him this day.
