Sunday Scripture Blessings 9 3

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds
He counts the number of the stars; He gives names to all of them
Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite
Psalm 147:3-5

In the good times, God is there. In the sad times God is there. I chose this scripture for today's scripture blessing because blessings are indeed needed as those in Texas who suffered the effects of the recent hurricane, and the responders as well need blessings for strength in this sad time. So many places in our world as well are suffering their own floods and ravages from weather. Even with God, we know that there are other forces that affect our lives and safety, but God will see people through the rough times. My heart is so saddened as I watch how, while I'm safe in my home and area, others are devastated with loss of life and home. Families have lost everything, and it is hard to watch without tear filled eyes for all those people. My prayer today is for all who have suffered loss of life and loved ones and home no matter where they are in this world. My heart and prayers go out to Texas, those in other countries that have recently been affected as well from flooding, and fires that rage in parts of our country. God be with.......

Making a butterfly with Adobe Photoshop is so easy so sometimes I'll use the background of my graphic or photo to make one. This one is made from the scripture photo above. Just use the cookie cutter tool, cut wherever you want on your photo (you won't see it, but on the layer you can then add a drop shadow and you will see it). You can re-size to however large or small you want and move it around. If you want to duplicate it, just duplicate the layer or use Alt and right click on the mouse. Anyway, hope you enjoy the butterfly. You can download it HERE
You're next for sharing a Sunday Scripture Blessing for the week ahead. Hope everyone enjoys and has a nice Labor Day week-end for those that share this holiday in the US.

  1. Yes, joining you in praying for all who have been affected. May we not forget to pray for them in the days ahead as it will be a lengthy journey.

  2. Joining you in praying for those in Texas. We have family in Houston and are so grateful they are safe. The praying needs to continue even more as the storm has passed and the clean up begins.

  3. He surely does heal the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. I can give testimony to that fact through some devastating circumstances in my own life. The Lord is faithful!

  4. Very fitting Scripture as our thoughts and prayers center on all those affected by the hurricane!
