Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 4 29 18

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. - Proverbs 3:5-8

The week turned nice here in Ohio toward the end, and the warmth was wonderful for being outdoors. Seems maybe Spring has finally arrived. I'm keeping my eye on something that is growing by my garage. If it is what I think, it may be a the bulbs from a lovely plant my daughter gave me last Mother's Day. She gave it in a potted plant as a beautiful flower, and I'm thinking that I did take it outside once the blooms had died and planted in hopes it would return. I'll take a picture and share later if that is what it ends up being.

Hope everyone enjoyed a good week. Now it's time for sharing a scripture blessing. Please try to visit one other that links up. Thanks.

  1. I did that one year with an old bouquet of sunflowers that I got from a farm stand. They grew so big and tall every year that they attracted all kinds of beautiful birds and even squirrels climbed the thick stalks!

  2. These will forever be some of my favorite Bible verses. When we were building, we wrote them on some of the door frames of our house. I often wonder if they'll be uncovered (and reflected upon) by someone someday many years from now (if the Lord tarries). Personally, I continually need to be reminded not to lean on my own understanding. Our plants are still buried under snow, but the weather is warming and things are melting nicely! Hoping to see some lupines popping up this year.

  10. We had a pumpkin plant growing by our back porch. We have no idea why it popped up there and I was sad we had to pull it up. We are having an issues with snakes and they like to sleep under those big leaves... EEEK!
