Sunday Scripture Blessings 7 1 18

Praise be to the LORD, to GOD our Savior,
who daily bears our burdens.
Our GOD is a GOD who saves;
from the Sovereign LORD comes escape from death.
Psalm 68:19-20

June has said good-bye but is leaving the flowers still.
As the blooms are flattering with bursts of color,
the heat waves of the days will be refreshed with ice tea, colas, lemonade, and water
as we bask in the July sun.
Children and grandchildren will make their summery visits
and the world will seem quiet, peaceful with cookouts, swimming an water play
as the day winds down to fireflies, glistening moons, and tales around the campfire
with smores and roasted marshmallows.
And at days end, we will rest in the arms of Jesus and be blessed throughout the night.

  4. I snapped a similar photo this week - the clouds above a break in the trees. Praise the Lord for the beauty of this earth.
