Scriptures above are from the NIV version.
There is no better book to read than the Bible once you really get into it with it's history, stories of heartache, stories of revenge, stories of success, and most of all stories of God's saving Grace even in the times of their refusal to obey.
Would love to have you share what you're reading or just link up a scripture or leave a hello comment scripture or just say hello. All are visited and replied. Thanks for sharing and have a Blessed Sunday and week ahead.

I am so thankful for his presence.
ReplyDeleteI am currently reading through the books of Acts and Proverbs. I want to learn from the early Church and gain wisdom for today.
ReplyDeleteYes, reading Scripture is always profitable, and right now I am in Ephesians. So much goodness there on being the church.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a long time since I've read through the Psalms so that's what I'm doing now.
ReplyDeleteGreat theme for the comments!
ReplyDeleteI am starting the book of 2 Samuel. I have been loving the Old Testament as it just reiterates over and over again God as our loving, patient Father. I know many might view the God of the Old Testament as harsher, but with growth in my own Christian walk over these many years, I find the Old Testament extremely comforting.
Awesome verses and thoughts shared, both in your post and in the comments. I'm reading through Psalms. David's heartfelt words continue to strengthen and remind me of God's grace.
ReplyDeleteInteresting to see those two scripture passages side by side and reflect on the fact that the Christ Luke described is also the Ancient of Days in Daniel. God's Word is powerful indeed.
