A gloomy day, but I stopped in to this local park that I've been wanting to for few years. I only peeked in a bit because not sure how big of an area, and I was alone so didn't venture too far. Just a woodland, and apparently there is wetlands in there too, but I didn't see any. I'm assuming Summertime or Spring would be a busier time to see nature's animals as I saw none.
Hope all will have the best Thanksgiving you can considering we are still under the cloud of Covid. Even with that, there are so many things for which I am thankful.

Autumn melancholy...
ReplyDeleteWetlands are a truly treasure, I'm glad, that they are savend today.
Happy Thanksgiving - in this year all is different and difficult, here in Germany too.
It looks liker a nice park. I hope you get back there for a longer visit one day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful spot. I wish you a very happy Thanksgiving. It is a very strange year with most people staying home and forgoing the usual gathering together. I was thinking that it puts us all in the frame of mind to have empathy for those who have lost a loved one or who are often alone during the holidays. Perhaps this will make us kinder to one another.
ReplyDeleteMarshes are wonderful places, and the one you visited looks especially nice.
ReplyDeleteHappy thanksgiving. Be safe and well.
What a great idea to explore these spaces while other things are off the cards! Easy to keep safe and space too!
ReplyDeleteWas great to walk with you! In Spring you probably will see some others here! Great post, Peabea. Have a happy Thanksgiving - hope where you live you can see your family that day! Jesh
ReplyDeleteHave you read "Where the Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens? I think you might enjy it. It is about life on the marsh. Here nature descriptions ravelled through the story line are wonderful. Happy thanksgiving, stay safe and thank you again for the link up.
ReplyDeleteLovely scenes!
ReplyDeleteIt looks pretty even in its more drab autumn rest. The one photo made me think of "two roads diverged in a yellow wood"
ReplyDeleteI love the trail! It's like the trail that I posted about this week. :)
ReplyDeleteI guess getting out would be its own reward with some fresh air. Love the photos, they look quite serene.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic addition to 'My Corner of the World' this week!
