Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 2 28 2021

God is love. It is a verse many remember learning in Sunday school or Vacation Bible School. But what does it mean? God is, by His very nature, love. All that He does is out of a heart overflowing with unconditional love, God's unconditional love surpasses any other that we have ever received or given. Christians. are to be known by our love. Lyrics of a song written many years ago put is this way: We are one in the Spirit. We are one in the Lord...And they'll know we are Christians by our love. But do they? Do the people within your sphere of influence know that you are a Christian by your love? Or do you blend in with the crowd? Be a vessel of grace and peace. Let love be your trademark, a distinctive sign that you are a believer. You may never know the impact this will have for the kingdom. What does love look like? It takes all shapes and forms. Some examples might be helping others, going the extra mile, offering words of encouragement, or putting your own ambitions aside in order to put others first. (from my daily devotional)

Thank you for visiting Sunday Scripture Blessings this Sunday. Nice to see all who stop by.

Last week, I posted that my oldest son was infected with the Covid-19 virus. The prayers helped because he has been released from the hospital with oxygen. He will wean off it, and prayers that he has no residual problems. If you read on Covid, it starts the minute you are infected to destroy the small air sacs in the lungs, and the cilia that helps filter the bad things out. Ones who have the worse cases are most likely to have this happen. Plus many other scary things that can happen to the heart and organs. A drop in oxygen that might be okay in a healthy person can cause death immediately. It is sad that there is no help with Covid until you get extremely ill, and then you can go to the hospital. My son had it at least 7 plus days before they'd see him. Then he was admitted to the hospital. They have come a long way with help with it, but unless you're one who can't clear the lungs, you then develop what is called Covid pneumonia; which is different than regular pneumonia.

Thank you for all the prayers, they are appreciated, and I'm asking for prayers that my son will come back 100% and can get off the oxygen. You guys are so awesome with your prayers. We know the power of prayer works. I will pray for all of you that you nor your loved ones do not get Covid. And, also that this vile virus, God will eradicate it sooner than later. Prayers for the whole world.
