We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed: we are perplexed, but not in despair. Persecuted but not forsaken. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment worketh for far more exceeding and external weight of glory. Therefore, I say unto you take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat or what ye shall drink nor yet for your body what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat and the body more than raiment? 2 Corinthians 4 and Matthew 6
Happy first Sunday in October everyone.
Everywhere I go, I see mums, pumpkins and Fall decorations. Fall is in full swing. Soon the leaves will be falling everywhere. So far since our weather in Ohio has been extra warm, I'm not sure we will get the explosion of Fall colors that we normally do.
Link up is open below if you'd like to share a Scripture this week.
Thank you for stopping by, and as always, I appreciate seeing you so I can come visit your blog.
Have a great week.

I have been thinking along these same lines of late. Yes, the world does seem to be falling apart but we are of God's world.
ReplyDeleteHi Hopie, thanks for stopping by and sharing a scripture. Amen that we are God's world and can lean on him in all things. Hope things are good with you, and have a great month of October. :)
DeleteI love this photo and how you've edited it. Despite all the trouble we see around us, how good it is to know that God's promises never fail and he is faithful. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHi Kym, loved seeing your visit. Yes, reminding myself of that when I start to get anxious about things.
DeleteAre those corn combines in your photo? Whatever they are, little boys can sit and watch those all day long! In praising and rejoicing, despite the circumstances, that is where I find the joy of the Lord.
ReplyDeleteHi Maryleigh, those are combines. The grandson loved watching every Fall. Enjoyed seeing your visit so I could come visit you.
