Sunday Scripture Blessing 11 30 2025

Micah, the 6th of the minor prophets refers to the devastation of Samaria and temporary destruction of Jerusalem. His prophecies of Messiah is that Christ should be born at Bethlehem. A contemporary of Isaiah. A native of Moresheth-gath.

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.

And what does the Lord require of you?

To act justly and to love mercy

and to walk humbly with your God.

Micah 6:8

Today starts the first week of Advent - HOPE

Tree decorating is starting to make their appearance in homes, and brightly lit decorations don the outside of homes. We are in the first week of Advent ~ HOPE. After the year we've been having, there is always hope with Christ, and blessings of all kinds. We have the promise of Hope always. The trees and decorations are signs that all still have Hope of better days because we believe. 

Reading Luke daily as a lead up to the celebration of Jesus' Birth and Christmas. The Book of Luke has 24 chapters. It is an entire account of Jesus' life.
