As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, it is marked with Advent. The First week of Advent is HOPE, which began last Sunday. For my Advent count down, I am reading Luke. The first chapter emphasizes Jesus: ancestry, birth and early life.
- An Angel announces the Birth of John the Baptist.
- The Angel Gabriel announces Christ's Birth.
- The HOPE of his coming.
Luke 1:1-80
This week in Advent is PEACE. Seek inner PEACE and harmony
- Luke 2 Christ is Born. Joseph and Mary go to pay taxes that Caesar Augustus has announced.
- The shepherds visit Jesus
- Simeon's Prophecy; A light to lighten the Gentiles and the glory of thy people Israel.
- Luke 3 - The Ministry of John the Baptist
- Luke 4 - The Temptation of Christ
- Luke 5 - The First Disciples Are Called
- Luke 6 - Jesus Works on the Sabbath
So far December hasn't started so good for me. I was back in the hospital again this year. It started out with me having to be in and out of the hospital all during the first quarter of the year. Could use some prayers. Thank you. :)
Hope your month is going good. Prayers for all who might need them.
Link up is open below to share a scripture. If you don't have a blog that you can link to, comments are always welcome just saying hello or a scripture link.
Enjoy your Sunday and week ahead.
~hugs~

Nothing better than a scribbled comment or just a Hello. I look forward to them all..~Have a great week~ Please note that since if I reply to your comment here, you won't know unless you keep traveling back, so I try to always visit anyone who comments and leave a comment on their blog plus I like visiting anyway and making new blog friends. Have a great scribbling day. :)
