Pictorial Tuesday 1 27 2026

We have snow. So, I guess there was record breaking snowfall over lots of America this weekend. Lots were to have it worse than the area where I am, but we got enough. Everything closed. The Southern states, though sadly, were to get lots of freezing rain and ice everywhere. Now there are many with no power, and the temps are to be ridiculously low all this coming week.

Since selling my house, and the apartment cost didn't work out, I ended up buying a mobile home in a nice park for 55 and older. So, with all the snow, and wind, I went to my daughters so I wouldn't be snowed in here in case of power outages. Luckily, there were none so far where I am. I came home today. Was fun trying to get my car out and drive off her street as the side streets are usually not plowed until later on. Razzy and I made it home. I was surprised that the roads were in pretty decent shape for all the snowfall that we did get. More than we've had in quite a few years. Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. 😊

  1. my goodness, look at all that snow. I am glad you went to your daughter's and you are ok. Whilst over here we have devastating bushfires and floods all over Australia - climate change..... Stay safe, enjoy your week, and thankyou for the linkup.

  2. Wow, that’s a lot of snow! I’m glad you were able to stay with your daughter and didn’t get stuck—driving on unplowed streets sounds tricky. It’s amazing the roads were still in decent shape after such a big snowfall. Thanks for sharing your story and the linkup—stay warm and safe this week! ❄️🚗

  4. It seems that it snows everywhere in the northern hemisphere. So it has snowed here too. And when I look out of the window I see a scenery that is almost the same. I love it....
    Have a good time

  5. That sounds like good judgment on your part — knowing when to go somewhere safer matters. I’m glad you and Razzy made it back without trouble. These kinds of weeks really highlight how much we depend on one another and on people doing quiet, practical work behind the scenes. I hope the coming days stay calm for you, and that others hit harder by this weather get relief soon.
