Valentine flowers from my son. Gotta love kids. After a hard day at work, he stopped by with flowers and a bit of candy for me before going home to take his wife out for a Valentine's dinner. It was a nice surprise.
The bird feeder, the squirrel has found it and is eating most of the seeds so I've taken a break for couple days of putting some in. I've had 23 species so far stop by. Even had a Raven.

Above is the Raven. Didn't really care for it. Looked it up and says they are very intelligent.
The cardinal is my favorite. I think this must be the female as it's not as colorful.
This is the goldfinch which I looked up and says they're not colorful in the colder months. I'm hoping they stop by again this summer when they're the beautiful yellow.
Pictorial Tuesday link up is open from Monday until Saturday to share your photography or digital art. Thanks for visiting. Happy Monday.

I had no idea birds feathers were seasonal!! WOW!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like your backyard is the place to be! 23 species is incredible. What a beautiful set of photos for today!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet son! I’m sure the birds have appreciated all the feeding and yes, ravens are among the smartest of the birds.
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice collection of birds. I have ravens in the woods, but I've never seen them in the yard. I love watching the birds at the feeder pole. That reminds me, I need to put out some food today.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the coffee dear Peabea. At first sight I thought...so much bouquets...but you took the pics from different sides. But indeed, a real beautiful bouquet.
ReplyDeleteHave a good time and all the best
