Sunday Scripture Blessing 10 29 17 Link Up

For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with salvation.
Let the saints rejoice in this honor and sing for joy.  Psalm 149:4-5

This week during the rain, the sun shone through the clouds during the rain. Hubby said, when that happens there is usually a rainbow. Sure enough, there it came. I wish they lasted longer because it was the widest and deep colorful one we've seen in a while, but by the time I got my camera, it was fading.

Doodle/Journaling in my Bible Promises Journal:

Prayer:
Riches ~ Thank you Father in Heaven for the riches that I have. They may not be monetary or luxury items, but nonetheless, I am rich. Forgive my unappreciative attitude at times. And, even though I'm undeserving, I have riches and values that are in my everyday blessings from above. I'm comfortable, I have food, I have a roof, I'm clothed, I have a good husband and kids that could not be better.
Appreciation of the small things of life gain you treasures of the heart. I've had it good so far. Thank you for looking out for me when I was not paying attention. You, Heavenly Father, have been my wealth all along. Thank you and praises to your name. In Jesus' name...Amen

Yesterday was the first snow, and one of the first in October for quite a few years.

Some fun things to do with your Bible Journaling supplies. I used the ready made journal cards from Hobby Lobby and then just stamped and/or used my ink stamps and a brayer to decorate with God's word.

Hope all had a great week. Looking forward to reading the Blessings' Scripture of those that want to share. Even if not sharing, say hello in the comments.

  1. Yes! Thank you Father for the richest I have! It might not be monetary, but we have our health and the present moment and the hearts to live it.

  3. Rainbows are so awesome. I thrill every time I see one...for many reasons. I especially love your prayer. It's perfect going into the month of Thanksgiving....which should be year-round! xoxox
