Pictorial Tuesday 3-6-18

Saw this growing at a local park in the Fall. No idea if it was a flower or is just a weed, but thought it looked interesting, like little lanterns maybe.

Just some trees that I added the color bar deluxe action too. I found the action on The Coffee Shop Blog site as a free action.

Happy Tuesday, and you're next if you'd like to share. Thanks.

  1. Gosh I wish I knew, but it is a very pretty weed if that is the case!

  3. I have seen that plant before - it was called Chinese lantern, I believe. My search engine gives it a fancier name - Physalis alkekengi

  5. Yup, Chinese lantern flowers. I like how you showed the colors in your photos. That's cool. That makes for a good teaching tool for someone like me who's starting to see the various shades of colors. :-)

I miss playing with PS actions. I haven't used any since changing computers...

  7. I think my grandfather grew that in his garden or maybe Grandma had a house plant called Chinese lantern. Huh... Either way, thank you for sharing! And I appreciate you visiting me with a kind word for my Monday spark. Be well.

  8. yes. It turns a beautiful orange color in the autumn and becomes more dry...sort of like a paper.
