Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 3 31 2019

I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoiceth; my flesh also shall rest in hope. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou wilt shew me the part of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
-Psalm 16:8-10 KJV

As we say good-bye to March with this last day in March, I pray everyone has had a blessed month. I cannot believe it, seems we were just wondering if March would come in like a Lion or a Lamb, and now it's exiting already. But, alas, Spring is in the air even with the rain today. The temp will be in the 60's, then rain snow mix and bit colder, but next week looks to be in 60's and warm all week with no rain. Yay!!

Time for sharing a Scripture Blessing with your link up. If you don't have a blog to link up, feel free to share a scripture in the comment section. Thank you and I am blessed by all who visit and/or share.

Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 3 17 19 Matthew

37 He who loves [and [n]takes more pleasure in] father or mother more than [in] Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves [and takes more pleasure in] son or daughter more than [in] Me is not worthy of Me;
38 And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me [[o]cleave steadfastly to Me, conforming wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also] is not worthy of Me.
39 Whoever finds his [[p]lower] life will lose it [the higher life], and whoever loses his [lower] life on My account will find it [the higher life].
40 He who receives and welcomes and accepts you receives and welcomes and accepts Me, and he who receives and welcomes and accepts Me receives and welcomes and accepts Him Who sent Me.
41 He who receives and welcomes and accepts a prophet because he is a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward, and he who receives and welcomes and accepts a righteous man because he is a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.

42 And whoever gives to one of these little ones [in rank or influence] even a cup of cold water because he is My disciple, surely I declare to you, he shall not lose his reward.
Matthew 10:37-42 AMPC
My note to myself: To put the love of the Lord first makes it okay to love our parents or children because he loves them also. Put GOD first, and all the rest shall follow.
Happy Sunday and time for another Link Up. Thank you to all who returned last week, and to those that stop by this week. So Blessed with all your scripture sharings.

Springtime Frame ~ Digital Scrapbooking & Pictorial Tuesday

Sorry not a great photo, but Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal. Hubby said he saw the Robin out back. Hopeful for Spring, actual weather, soon. It is warming with rain, but will be nice. Even though our winter wasn't all that harsh like others, I am so ready for nice Spring weather.

Happy Tuesday. Here's a Sprintime Frame for you as a free printable or if you'd like the entire kit, just let me know, and I'll share the download as a zip file.

I am rebooting Pictorial Tuesday so please share your photography, digital scrapbooking, photo art below. It was a rough start to this year so I think I made some rash decisions with all the sadness, but I miss seeing all the lovely sharings. Thank you to all who visit and link up.

Poems by Peabea ~ 3 11 19

It's dark now, the kids have gone.
As I look around the room,
remnants remain of evidence they came ~
toys lay on the floor that won't be played with anymore.

Kids grow, they move away,
but now and then they come again.

The rooms lighten up again
with laughter and busyness
Toys are brought out for grandbabies to play;
the giggles are delightful.

Times is up, bags are packed,
and off the go again ~
taking with them our hugs and well wishes.

If only kids could stay, but they've grown
and must go on their way to the adult life they've made.

We smile with pride as our Loves go out the door.

Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up Reboot

Okay, what can I say???? I am Woman....and we tend to change our minds - Often. haha I miss all the Sunday Scripture Blessings link ups so I am rebooting it. I think I made the decision to quit too quickly. So, hoping those who linked up will return, and others will join as well. Link up is below. Happy Sunday. :)

Notes to self:

Always remember the words of Jesus as spoken to the disciples. Don't be fooled by scoffers who try to instill doubt of your faith. We, ourselves, should not be slack in our righteousness and stay true to our Faith as we wait for Christ's return. Be stedfast and not led astray and continue in knowledge of Jesus and God. Give him the Glory.

The Song ~ Down Memory Lane

The Song

We all three had our glasses on
We went to lunch and they played a song
We said “Oh My” remember this ~
The song that never left our lips
That as a child we sang ~ the song that never leaves the lips

There we were all worn and grey
But we still enjoy the day
Our hearts and our minds are young ~ we laugh ~ we talk
But we no longer run

As children we ran and played the day away
But now that we’re worn and grey
to lunch we go ~ to spend the day
To say in touch ~ to laugh and play
But no longer can we run

And on that day, the song came on that never left our lips
A song we sang when we were young

“Oh yes” we remember
When the song came on
Each of us smiled that smile of wonderment that only in our
minds could we picture it

The days at play ~ the song that never went away
A song for only us three ~ a song that told us we were meant to be
Each one special in her own way ~ as we ran and played

The song of the young ~ the song that young ones sing so sweet
Because the song that came on that day was
a baby sweet sitting with her mom ~ giggling and singing ~
As only children do ~

The song that never leaves the lips
The song of ~Youth ~
That is remembered by three old ladies

As I age, seems I look back more than I should. Wrote this because as a blessing, I still have my sisters, and to lunch we go. We no longer run and play, but our memories are shared of those days. Some we actually remember differently, and then we laugh. And we remember the mom, who as a single mom could have made so many different choices for us. I now know the sacrifices she made to keep a family together for three little girls so they could giggle, laugh, and play.

Love seeing visitors so leave a comment hello. :)
