ReplyDeleteKeeping a gratitude journal of at least three things I'm thankful for each day has been life changing for me. God knows that there's power in us choosing thankfulness in all circumstances.
ReplyDeleteI recently was hit afresh that being thankful in "all" things goes in tandem with the verse that refers to being thankful as a sacrifice. It is a sacrifice when we are thankful in trials because it is not natural to thank God for affliction of any kind.

Being thankful is always a choice we make, isn't it? If nothing else, we can be thankful that God is still in control. Be blessed this week!
ReplyDeleteVery good reminder as we enter into *Thankful Season*. I'm trying to adopt the habit of beginning my nightly prayers with the things I'm thankful for during that day. There's more than we realize!
