Jesus loved us to the end, to the very limit, dying on the cross. We must have this same love which comes from within, from our union with Christ. such love must be as normal to us as living and breathing.

I love that quote from Mother Teresa. You are on my daily prayer list. I hope that you are doing well.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Elizabeth for visiting and adding me to your daily prayers. I also pray for those that come here. I have now gone two months with not a visit to the Hospital, and praying with the new medicine that I will have many more months without. It is hard, as with everyone in these times of Covid-19, to have the loneliness of being alone now, but thanking God that my kids do come and visit safely sometimes. Your visits here as the others makes something to look forward to. And I have Razzy and he's a comfort even though he is a spoiled brat. lol

ReplyDeleteThat will be a glorious day and I long for it.
I am one to smile and growing up it was normal for others to smile and say hi, but even before now, I had noticed some are so busy that they don't even make eye contact when out and about, but I smile anyway. Especially now as I wear a mask, if I can I say hello. :) Maybe the slowing down of things, I think was designed to be a blessing.
DeleteMother Teresa's quote hits home today, Peabea! May Jesus' love define our very being.
ReplyDeleteGood to meet you at your place on this rainy Sabbath afternoon ...
Was so nice to see your visit to Peabea Scribbles. Feel free to share a scripture each week if you'd like. Have a great week.
DeleteBeautiful quote and reminder. I so agree with your response - the slowing down of things is indeed a blessing! I've noticed we are now using our eyes to communicate even more. Blessings to you during this time.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Scripture and a lovely quote.
