Pictorial Tuesday 7 21 2026

 I surprised myself with flowers!!









When I told my sister I surprised myself with flowers, she said reminded her of this song by Miley Cyrus.

Write my name in the sand
Talk to myself for hours, yeah
Say things you don't understand
I can take myself dancing, yeah
I can hold my own hand
Yeah, I can love me better than you can

Also, my sister said she's never bought herself flowers. I often do when in the grocery store. Just love fresh cut flowers and since I no longer have a flower garden to cut mine, these will do.

    The flowers are beautiful. Every Friday I go to Trader Joe’s for groceries and almost always buy a small bouquet, it’s so cheering.

    When I was working and needed a pick me up, I would have the floral dept make small boutonnières for me and everyone in my department. Everyone liked this. I didn't do it all the time, but I would about once a month.
