Sunday Scripture Blessing Link Up 12 30 2018

As we head into another New Year, I thank God to have made it through pretty much unscathed. What blessings we receive through a year that we sometimes don't even recognize. As a mom, I am blessed to share Christmas with our three adult children and their children. I am blessed with a son who has had his share of heartache and problems that will now be giving his first sermon this coming Friday night at the Church he attends. I have been thinking, "Oh God, how mysteriously you do work your wonders because knowing this child, no one would ever have expected him to be in Church, let alone standing on a pulpit doing the sermon." But, as scripture says, God doesn't come to heal those who are already healed but those that need it. Prayers for the pastor that is leading him down God's path. His journey with religion has been for more than seven years, and he is blessed to have God helping him find his way.

Anyway, the scripture I chose actually at random this busy week, reminds me of all the former things, and the memories and blessings we attain in each year. Prayers for blessings for all as we head into another year. Prayers for much needed prayers for those in our government that they allow God to lead them.

And, best of all, each New Year's Eve is a reminder of a very joyful time in years past. It was the birth of our first child 53 years ago.

Happy New Year everyone that visits Peabea Scribbles, and I look forward to another blogging year with those that I have come to enjoy visiting each week. Thank you for sharing. :)

Also, I apologize for Sunday Scripture Blessings being posted late. With family gatherings, and babysitting these two cute grand-dogs, I didn't get ahead of the game.

Pictorial Tuesday 12 25 2018

My little box above was one that I made out of cardstock. I wanted to leave an ornament for the mail carrier for Christmas and didn't have a box. I remembered that I use to make boxes when people sent Christmas cards if one was needed for piece of jewelry or something small. I always saved my cards from year to year, and they were also awesome repurposed gift tags. I have an Xtron sticker maker so to decorate, I punched some snowflakes out of wrapping paper, added a bow, and it was good to go. :)

Over Christmas, I played with decorating glass ornaments. The Deco Foil glue and Deco Foil worked great for some. See video.

Also, have to share that the grandson had a choice of a new cell phone for Christmas or a puppy. He chose the puppy. I go to stay with him after school some days until his parents get home, and the new puppy wanted to climb up on the couch and get babied, but for now the pup isn't allowed on the furniture. Solution the grandson made was to sit in the new puppy's dog bed with him. Apparently. the puppy had played enough and wanted a nap. However, since that day the rule of the couch has been lessened, and the pup can get up if he behaves. lol The pup won that round.

Hope everyone who celebrates has a nice Christmas Day.

Link is below for sharing what you've been capturing through your photo lens or photo art or digital scrapbooking designs. Thanks for visiting. Link will be open until Friday.

Sunday Scripture Blessings 12 23 18 Merry Christmas

For GOD so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

For GOD sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:17

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of GOD.
John 3:18

Have a Blessed Christmas everyone, and thanks for stopping by. Always appreciated. Link up is below.

It's getting close. Just a few more days until we celebrate Christmas so I've been making some seasonal graphics. Hope all have a nice holiday season.

Included with my graphic are a couple of my ornaments. You can download them all HERE if you like for use in your digital scrap booking or to print out. If you use them, I would love to have you post back a link to the post so I can see how you use them. Not necessary though as a requirement. A credit is always appreciated. The ornaments are for personal use, and if you would like to use them commercially, please request. I request that you don't sell them as your own.

(note, when you go to the download link it will say this type not supported which means it doesn't support showing you the graphic when it is in a zip file. Just click the download button on the upper right).

The truck with the Christmas tree, I shared in an earlier post as tags for printing out or for download. You can read about and find them HERE

Have a great Saturday,

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 12 18 18

It's not 'Frost on the Pumpkin' but 'Frost on the Fallen Leaves'. :) Even though we're pretty much in the Christmas season mood and it seems we've skipped right into Winter with the early snows, we actually still have a few more days of the Fall season. So, I thought I'd share more leaf photos.

When I walked the dog this morning, it was very frosty, and with leaves still on the ground here and there was a good photo op.

Time for you to link up what you've been shooting with Pictorial Tuesday. Thank you. You're Next:

Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 12 16 18

In those days came John the Baptist preaching in the wilderness of Judaea. And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness. Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.

Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John to be baptized of him. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for this it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him. And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Matthew 3:1-3,11,13-17

Philippians 4:4-5 Rejoice in the Lord alway; and again I say Rejoice. Let your moderation be known to all men. The LORD is at hand.

Next Sunday is Christmas Eve. Hard to believe since, seriously, December just started. Hope everyone is having a Blessed holiday season so far. Not sure when our family get together will be due to work schedules of all the kids. I think the plan so far is to just have a gathering sometime during Christmas week and have Pizza. Yay, Pizza means no work for this mama and grandma. The main thing will be time spent. So far, I've been blessed to spend some time with the grandbabykins (okay, grandson since he is a bit older now), but always a babykins to me. Been picking him up from school and hanging out until the parents get home. I don't seem him as much as I use to so this is a blessing for this grandma. Grandbabies are awesome. :)

Have a great week, and thank you for visiting and sharing a scripture blessing. I will probably set the link up to post next Sunday, but since it is Christmas Eve will understand if there are few visitors since it will most likely be a busy time and with family.

~MERRY CHRISTMAS~ to all who stop by Peabea Scribbles

Note Correction: Thanks to a kind visitor comment correction, next Sunday isn't Christmas Eve. It is on Monday. My oops. So, I will set up the link for Sunday as usual.

Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 12 9 18

There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest names Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and he name was Elisabeth. An they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years. St. Luke 1:5-7

And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense. And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard, ;and they wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. St. Luke 1:1-13

And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth. To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call him JESUS.  He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. St. Luke 1:26-323

I know all are probably busy this season of the year, but I thank you for visiting. All are welcome to leave a scripture blessing in the link up below or in the comment section if you don't have a blog link.

Happy Hanukkah to those who celebrate the Jewish holidays.

Have a great week.

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 12 4 18 and free gift

Getting into the swing of December already. Tree is up, and I'm way ahead of any other year. Presents are purchased, wrapped, and bows have been applied. Maybe the fact that we had snow all the last part of November, which hasn't been the norm in the last years, helped. As I placed the presents under the tree yesterday my furbaby, Razzy, was getting excited. How to explain to the puppy that it is early, and not time for his gift unwrapping. He had to sniff each present so his nose probably told him none for him yet. He did sit by the tree in a pretty pose for me for a bit even without me asking. haha I took a picture with my phone, but it doesn't take the greatest photos. It turned out blurry even though I tried to manipulate it with Adobe. By the time I thought to get my camera, he was out of the posing mood.

I found a truck on Pixels.com where they share free photos and also a pine tree so I made some tags to share. I kept seeing the red truck or vehicle on sites with the tree on the top so decided I wanted to make my own. I turned them into a gift for all of you of gift tags if you like. Just cut apart, punch a hole for a string or not. You could also add any words you might like using your photo program and printer. Just click on the picture below to open and print them. I also have them in PDF form that you can download HERE if you prefer. Hope you enjoy.

Best if printed on cardstock or thicker paper. I found some pretty glitter paper at Pat Catan's that I used to print mine.

Happy December. If you like my snowman kit above, contact me and I'll give the link for a free download.

Sunday Scripture Blessings 12 2 18

They will come with weeping [in penitence and for joy], pouring out prayers [for the future]. I will lead them back; I will cause them to walk by streams of water and bring them in a straight way in which they will not stumble, for I am a Father to Israel, and Ephraim [Israel] is My firstborn. Jeremiah 31:9 AMPC

Walk with LOVE and reverence. Life doesn't normally present with straight paths or directions for which one is the correct choice. It is up for decision almost daily. Which educational path should I take. Which marriage choice would be the best; when to marry and who is the better choice of spouse. Which house should be bought. Many path choices, Narrow or Crooked, but I think Mr. Thoreau is on to something with his quote: walk with Love and reverence
Jesus walked with Love and reverence for even those who could not understand.

Hello December. Thank you for sharing a scripture blessing this First Sunday of Advent
