Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 7 30 19

Visited a car show with my daughter and grandson over the week-end. First time I'd ever gone. Such fancy, elaborate cars that people collect and/or drive. I didn't take many pictures of the more sporty ones, but did get some of the older cars. Probably my favorite to see since they were all the rage when I was young, and now the grandson thinks they are so old. He says some look like space vehicles. 😊 Anyway, that's my latest photo outing. I didn't even adjust them, they are straight out of the camera. And, of course, I had to take some of the flowers that were around the shopping mall where the vehicle car show was being held, and a fountain.

Now it's your turn for sharing your photography, digital graphics or photos turned into artwork. Anything that is Photo related, and always family friendly. Thanks for visiting and sharing. Link is below.

Sunday Scripture Blessings 7 28 19

The Barren Fig Tree Cursed:

Prayerfully, I pray I am not like the fig tree. I can only wish that over the years, I have grown fruit for God if only in a gentle word with someone, or mannerisms. God knows me, so only he knows the answer to this parable that still applies to our world today. So many ways, we can be like a producing fig tree. The scripture below the story of the fig tree, Jesus reassures that in all things, all it takes is faith, and many things can be achieved. Faith can move mountains, and we do see it every day when we help with a prayer chain for an illness, for others who have concerns in their life. Miracles happen around us each and every day.

I have a simple example when not even thinking about faith or God's help in the situation. Such a simple act, but in the end, I give the credit to God in this minute happening. I went to my sister's to swim and visit. When the grandson and I hopped out of the car, my brain said, just put your purse in the car trunk area. No need to take it in. I did, and locked the car. Immediately, I knew what I had done. Keys to my car were in my purse now locked in my car. My brain did a quick run through of who might have a key to my house to retrieve a second set of keys. One son lives over an hour away and was at work, one son lives in another state four hours away, but, just maybe, my nurse daughter who also has a key to my house just might be working at the local hospital in the town where my sister lives. She was. So after the visit, my sister ran me over to the hospital to retrieve her keys to my house, took me home, got my second set of keys, and back to my car. Problem solved and I could quit panicking.

However, that is not the miracle that I did not know had transpired until about a week or so later. My daughter, the nurse, related to me in a conversation that she had quit taking that set of keys to work with her in the past few months. She needed none for work that were on that set. She said though, that day, something just said, (well we know who...not what) take that set of keys with you today. Small simple miracle that I am so thankful for because otherwise would have had to call locksmith, etc. to get home. Miracles happen every single day, even little ones. It was a blessing, and I am counting it as one. I think God knew that I did not need an added stress to the last few months, he saw my needs, and acted as he does. I thanked him that day, and again the day my daughter told me about the keys.

Time for another Sunday Scripture Blessings, and the link up is below. Have a wonderful Sunday.

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 7 23 19

Kids came for a visit and grand-daughter wanted to camp out in the yard. So tent goes up, and campfire fun.
They did sleep out all night, but I chose to stay in and enjoy the bed comfort and AC and fans.

Son and family brought me some green beens from their garden ~ very delicious. And of course had to have corn. First Summer meal. Perfect with added tomatoes. The corn was really sweet and delicious. Love Summertime veggies.

Our Patio cement is old and rough, but cleaning and a fresh paint job made it look much more summery.

Went to a local Bent and Dent with the son and his family. I’d been hunting a new bedspread for the spare bedroom, and found this for only $8.50 vs the $30 and $40 that I’d seen in the local stores. It is exactly like the ones I’d been wanting. Who doesn’t like a bargain. It’s not bent nor dent..haha. It’s brand new, but you can find some nice food products and items. It is run by the Amish. A bit dark in their shops as they have no electricity, but fun to venture into their world for just a bit.
Below is the link for your sharing of some of your photography you’ve been taking, or digital scrapbooking graphics. Photos manipulated into artwork welcome also. Request all be kept family friendly.

The Definition of Love

The refined, pristine, perfect definition of Love is....well, let's explore. The above scripture gives us a bird's-eye view of what love truly embraces: patience and kindness and lack of pride, jealousy, or rudeness. Love isn't demanding nor is it irritable, and it keeps no record of wrongdoing. It rejoices in the truth and never quits or loses faith!

What Christian exemplifies all of those attributes all of the time? None. Now read today's verse again and substitute the word love with God. Ready? Next, read the verse as if God were talking to you personally. He never gives up on you, never loses faith in you; and His love never fails. Most of all, despite your imperfections and failures, He continues to love you.

C.S. Lewis said, "He loved us not because we were lovable, but because He is love." What is the true definition of love? God.

(words are not mine, but were copied from my Daily Wisdom for Women 365 Daily Devotional Bible) Sharing because they make lovely sense to me. ❤

Thank you for visiting Peabea Scribbles, and please share a scripture blessing in the link up below or in the comment section if you don't have a blog to link up. Hope all have a happy and blessed week ahead.

Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 7 14 19

As I'm re-reading the Bible slowly, I am in Exodus as well as reading the New Testament in my Daily Wisdom for Women Day Devotional Bible. Reading the Law: Master and Servant Exodus 21, had to make a note that it really seems harsh. Some servants warranted to be free after seven years, but seems if they didn't pay particular attention to their P's 'n Q's (as we say), they never attained freedom. It seemed strange to me that Moses led the people out of Egypt to freedom, but for some they were still slaves only now to one another. Is why some parts of the Bible, I need to dig further to understand. The Law: Injuries to the Person seemed fair.

My post: with God we are all the same who accept him was my thought on Matthew 20:1-19. The parable Jesus tells of the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. Some were hired early in the day for a penny a day, some were hired later in the day for a penny a day. Some worked more hours but at the end of the day, they all attained the same reward - a penny for the day.
Matthew 20:14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
So no matter when we accept the love of Jesus into our heart, we are all the same to him. 💖

I hope all will have a good week ahead, and a great Sunday. 😃

Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 7 7 19

As we celebrated Independence Day this week, I have to reflect on all the glory that God has actually given to America. Even with its faults, I still think it is a great place to live. We can't all be the upper echelon, but even though I came from a broken home, a single mom, I realize it all could have been worse. On her death bed, I thanked her for not abandoning me before or after my birth. I think God was definitely leading her when my dad was just not a dad, and left her alone with me and my sisters. She was broke, no place to live, but God provided, and I had a very happy childhood. We are planted where we are, and on our paths in life. They cannot all be clones of one another. I thank God this week of celebrations that he planted me in America, and is continuing to teach me.

God has now chosen to put me on a path without the love of my life, and on an alone path, but he is still leading my way. I grumble at times at him on the lonely days, but I know it all could be worse, and I pray this day for those who do have it much worse. I say God Bless to those on a lonely path, on a broken path, on a young path, and also to those who are on a path with much more than others. I celebrate their successes. God will lead one foot at a time, one step at a time. He is leading me on my new path without my husband, I'm learning to deal, but there are times that I do rail because I wanted more time, but it could not be. This week of Independence is two months since my best friend had to go.

I hope everyone had a good and safe week if they celebrated July 4th. I have a selfish prayer that this rain will slow down for a bit. We have had rain month after month and so much flooding. It is time for a break. Prayers for those in the hardest hit areas.

Now on to Sunday Scripture sharing, and thank you always for visiting Peabea Scribbles.

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 7 2 19

from the Hydrangea bush that is growing at my son and dil's house. They are so pretty.

I made a butterfly embellishment that I cut out using Adobe Photoshop from the middle of the flower. So easy to make cut outs with that program of things and then save them as a .png file for use in other photos. Sharing my butterfly below if you would like one. :) Feel free to use it however you like in your photos or digital graphics.  No credit back needed, but welcome if you do. Just right click on the photo with your mouse and save as your own.

You can always resize it to however you like once you've added it to your photo, etc.

Also, needed a present for a baby shower, and I never like to buy the tissue paper, etc. to add to a bag that I'm placing a present in so I just make a bag topper. So easy. I just use my photo program and copy the design of the bag, and then using a regular 8.5 by 11 sheet of cardstock, I put the scan of the design on one half of the cardstock right side up, and then upside down on the other half. Then you can fold the sheet of cardstock in half and the design will show correctly on both sides of the cardstock. Just cut a slit to insert the cord or ribbon that is already on the bag and you have a topper without having to cover the present. It's now my original idea so if want better description, think I found it on YouTube.

Now on to your sharing this first Tuesday in July. The rain seems to have tapered off, but now we are extremely hot. Near the 100's over the week-end.

Have a Happy and Safe 4th of July and a safe and great week ahead.
