Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 9 29 2020

Every Fall, my son's family brings me mums that they get at the Amish. They're always so large and plush, and the price is amazing at $6.00 per mum. This year they brought a Purple and a White one.

The grandson came and we had a campfire, and cooked hot dogs. It was a beautiful evening with the weather just perfect for a fire. Even when little, he loved making a fire. His 4 wheeler was sitting by the fire, and the flames were reflecting in the headlights making for a perfect photo. See below.

Picked some of the mums and dahlias for bouquet for the table before the frost sets in this week.

Link up is open below. Thanks for all who stop by and share their love of photography. The camera catches what the eye misses at times. Love seeing the final product of taking a photo, and with the photo softwares available, fun to manipulate into photo art, make a graphic from a photo or just enhance a photo a bit. Happy Tuesday.

Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 9 27 2020

We have Peace with God Colossians 1:20

Romans 5:1 through our Lord Jesus Christ. By faith into this grace in which we stand and we exault in Hope of the Glory of God.

In Christ we are a new creature. All things are of God who reconciled us to Him. 2 Corinthians 5:17-18

Cannot believe I'm going to type this because seems I just did. Is it really the 4th Sunday of September? Seems I just typed bye to August and hello to September. Time is certainly moving on. As they say, must be having fun because time is flying.

Hope everyone has had a good September and things going well, and all staying well with all the virus pandemic. So far, so good here. I do stay home a lot and distance when the kids visit, and in stores. Seems though people where I live are getting really relaxed, and like old times when you're out and about. Lots of people out and about and seem really carefree, some with masks and some without. I wear one, and if they don't, I steer clear. It is very sad how estranged this seems to be making us becoming to one another. I pray constantly for our world, and especially for the children and teachers to stay safe. They've had a lot on their plate with school shootings, and now attending school where they could become ill. God is in control so I remember that daily too as I pray for them. I really do miss having lunch with my sisters, as we are in the older age group, we really don't get together that much.

Have a great Sunday, and thanks for visiting and linking up a Scripture blessing, I read and enjoy them all.

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 9 22 2020

Whether we wanted it or not, Fall has arrived. Although the night temps here have been in 30's and 40's at night. Weather promises to be more Fall like in the coming week. I caved and have turned on the furnace, which normally doesn't happen until late, late October or early November. 2020 just keeps promising weird things. I have decided if 2021 doesn't promise to play nice, I'm not welcoming in the New Year. lol

A favorite photo from some years back. He found his pumpkin, and didn't wait on his mom and me. He was out of the patch and on to the hayride.

The grand-daughter likes her cousin's Donkey. I think the donkey likes her too. 😃

Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 9 20 2020

Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity. 1 Timothy 5

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you. Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD - Psalm 89:14-15

Link up is open below if you'd like to share a scripture. Thank you to all who stop by each Sunday to share. If you can, please visit some of the others that link up. God's Blessings to all of you.

Thankful Thursday

Just scribbling about thankfulness. Happy Thursday. So many things to be thankful for in every day life, even when the times seem to be very hard. Honestly, I am one that can be negative at looking at the glass half full, but I am doing better at that when thinking of things for which to be thankful. Even the minute things in life count. I have found that it can always be worse.

Hope all in this sad time of Covid-19 are doing well. I'll be glad when we can rest easier. For now, I have started venturing out a bit more. I miss the days of taking my camera on long walks to enjoy what all there is to photograph. Leisurely going on a shopping spree without feeling like we need to stay our distance. We are a humaness that likes interactions, not distancing.  It will get better. See, I can do glass half full. lol

Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 9 13 2020

Praying for all those who are on the West Coast of America that are not only dealing with the Covid-19 crisis, but now having to deal with all the fires that are burning as well as the air quality from all the smoke. Asking our Heavenly Father to help those that are dealing with, and having to abandon their homes, and not knowing if it will be there on their return. Also praying for all the firefighters battling the blazes as well as ones who are injured or have lost their lives. Father in heaven please give them the Peace to process and deal with their anxiety, and send whatever is needed to eliminate the fires as we know and trust you for all good things. Asking in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen

If you would like to share a Scripture on this Sunday, the link up is open below. Thank you to all who visit. Your scripture sharings are always appreciated, and a blessing.

If Only In My Mind

 IF ONLY IN MY MIND

Missing You 💔

The beauty that surrounds me happens slowly with time stitching together all the colors, the hues, the glows that make up a wonderful life. If Only In My Mind

The curtains blow
The songs sound
The instruments play
The children laugh
If only for a day, they have set my heart aglow
This thing we built 56 years ago
The musician, the man
The individual being that is so worn now
The weary tired lines
The pain he ignores
The one and only that I’ve adored
It can’t go on
It can’t continue
But each minute, I carry within me
The beauty, the glow that surrounds me
If only in My Mind

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 9 1 2020

A Gas Station from years gone by, but still stands. Not sure why either the farmer or someone else has never torn it down, but enjoy the memories every time I pass by on way to town of younger years.

Just a log laying out back from tree hubby cut down few years back that is waiting to be fire wood.

Bordered by bean field.

So, September has arrived and schools have started. Soon they will be out harvesting this bean field and the corn field cross the road. Love Fall, but not what comes after.

New life has moved on.

Campfire memory, and a perk of the fall months to come.

Not much new in my world. The COVID-19 is still around, but numbers have come down enough that schools can go Hybrid, and some have chosen online for a few months. Personally, I'm glad my kids are all well into their adult years, and I'm not dealing with decisions about their school. However, still have the grandkids' parents who have to deal. Praying they all stay safe. The major college already has quite a few cases they are dealing with.

Razzy, my furkid, and I are pretty much just being lazy, and I do venture out to the stores. Will be glad when they can sound the all clear because I actually am chomping at the bit to go relaxed shopping with no mask. Just need a shopping spree. lol I'm more of a brick and morter shopper than online. And the grocery store just isn't doing it for me. 😀

Hope September finds all who venture here doing great.

Photo link up is open below. Will be fun to see what photography advenures you have been persuing. With the virus pandemic, I am limited on venturing out so some here are scribbled from my archives.
