Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 6 30 2020

Fire for Spark link blog hop
So she searches for light, only to realize it’s in her,
like an ember equipped to ignite.
Jessica Sorensen
Like the embers that catch one to another to become a full flame, people do the same when we interact with one another. Smiles, happy moods, friendliness, etc. all help to fuel the spirit of good will to others. We can also do the opposite with words that hurt or anger. Be the flame that ignites and spreads good vibes. pb

Fun design the solar lights make on the patio. New this year, and happy with the light design.
The grandson put new lights on his quad, and was so happy with his purchase. Scares me when they ride these things, but he's only allowed around the yard with it.

They sell these in the store, but what more fun to just buy the tiki torch refill for couple bucks, and containers from the Thrift store. All in all, less than $3.
Happy Tuesday, and Happy 4th of July.

Time for your sharing as we say goodbye to June for another year. Just praying we make a turn, and July is a much more relaxing month with better news regarding the virus. Will be strange with no on-site fireworks this year. I haven't gone for few years, but I know some really look forward. However, I'm sure there will be some put off in the neighborhoods that we can see. 😊
We are heating up in Ohio as Summer is well in to full swing with temps in the 90's plus now and humidity.

Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 20 28 2020

"You can never learn that Christ is all you need, until Christ is all you have." Corrie Ten Boom

"Do you know what hurts so very much? It’s love. Love is the strongest force in the world, and when it is blocked that means pain. There are two things we can do when this happens. We can kill that love so that it stops hurting. But then of course part of us dies, too. Or we can ask God to open up another route for that love to travel.” Corrie Ten Boom

"Even as the angry vengeful thoughts boiled through me, I saw the sin of them. Jesus Christ had died for this man; was I going to ask for more? Lord Jesus, I prayed, forgive me and help me to forgive him….Jesus, I cannot forgive him. Give me your forgiveness….And so I discovered that it is not on our forgiveness any more than on our goodness that the world’s healing hinges, but on his. When he tells us to love our enemies, he gives along with the command, the love itself.” Corrie Ten Boom

A few years ago, I read Corrie Ten Booms story. Despite the sadness of her story, it is also inspiring. She passed at the age of 91.

Jesus and the salvation he brings are greater than the Angels. Jesus is our apostle sent by God, and he brings a greater rest to us and promised land than Moses and Joshua brought to Israel. Jesus is a more effective high priest than the priests appointed by the law of Moses. As God's faithful people through the ages, we must continue living in light of God's unseen, heavenly realities and stepping out in faith. Through the Messiah, we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken. (taken from note in NIV Bible in Hebrews)

Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 6 21 2020

17 After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about this parable. 18 “Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? 19 For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.)
20 He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. 21 For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, 22 adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”

Happy Sunday. Thank you for visiting and all who stopped by last week. Scriptures and prayers were really appreciated.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there.

Pictorial Tuesday Link Up 6 16 2020

The lilies are back and finally open. They were a gift from my son about 7 years ago. They're doing great and multiplying. Sadly, though they don't bloom all Summer. Last year something bit them off as soon as they bloomed so I'm hoping for no repeat this year.

Flowers for myself just as a treat from the grocery.  :)

A really nice gal in the neighborhood that I rarely see, stopped with this gift bottle of wine, and a visit. I'm rarely one to have a glass, but will definitely sample this. :)

So, the robins made a nest on the elbow of the stovepipe, and sat on it for quite a while. Then one day, I noticed they were gone and either something got the eggs or they just didn't make. Few days later, I saw their nest on the ground. I love the robins when they do have babies. Fun to watch them and their young out in the yard.

So enjoyed those who stopped by last week. Thank you for linking up. The link up for this week is now open. Hope everyone is having a good week so far.

Sunday Scripture Blessings Link Up 6 14 2020

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust; his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

I apologize if you remember this post, but I had my third time in hospital in two months with this AFIB, and kids are coming from WV so just didn't feel up to doing a new post. But didn't want to not have the link up for those who share, and wanted to give a scripture blessing. Thank you to all who visit.

Link up is open below if you'd like to share a scripture blessing. Thanks for sharing and have a good week ahead. Prayers for our world.
